MERCURY RETROGRADE BIRTH

Hi everyone,

So I think I was born during a mercury retrograde...what does this mean?

I never seem to feel the full energy force of a MERCURY RETROGRADE but obviously still am vary of them especially if signing any documents etc.

Is anyone else here a mercury retrograde birth? I'd love to learn more if anyone has any information on this cycle.

it always depends on your whole chart -- mercury's placement (sign and house) and aspects... and usually mercury may go out of retrograde during your life by progressions.. so it is understanding that also which may be important.

As a general rule mercury rules the Mind, the waking conscious mind -symbolically and practically affecting communications, writing, reading traveling and all variations of those topics. Having mercury retrograde can effect all those areas of one's life in different cycles.

We just went into universal Mercury retrograde last week in Libra and will be retrograde until Oct 18th. During a Mercury Retrograde cycle it is said or helps to be more aware of anything you say, write or read.... it effects mail and e-mail and all kinds of communications.. read carefully before signing any papers etc...

Interesting -Some astrologers find that if one has a mercury retrograde at birth in natal chart that during the mercury retrograde periods one's mind is more focused.. and are great periods for studying and meditation.

Dear Ace,

Thank you so so SO MUCH for doing my astrology chart for me. I really am ever so grateful for the time and effort it has taken. I never expected so much detail and insight. I am totally blown away with all the information. I am printing it out now so I can make notes etc on it. I have briefly read through some of it, but I feel I really need to study this so I can truly benefit from all the aspects of my chart.

I had no idea just how complex our astrology charts are. I mean I knew that there was more to us than just our sun sign...but I literally had no idea just how much the other signs and their positions in our charts influence and to a certain degree control our lives. Not to even mention the planets!

I have always felt a higher connection to our solar system and indeed the universe (and beyond). I have always felt a separate consciousness from each of the celestial bodies, including our mother earth. Perhaps that is why I feel more alert consciously during a mercury retrograde than when it is direct.

I have so much to learn and take in. It is not always easy for me, because as you can see from my chart, I am hungry for information and knowledge and I don’t always allow enough time or patience to complete the journey. I have a habit of putting all my energy into something and often burn out before I’ve even really started. So I am trying desperately to control and manage my enthusiasm, which is not an easy task for me.

If I go too slow I get bored and if I go too fast I can miss so much, so it really is a battle within myself especially on topics of interest. That is not to even mention all the self doubt and over analyzing of everything. I can often become exhausted just by reading a single page on a topic of interest. My brain wants to be a sponge and soak up everything straight away...but my mind says:-

“whoa!...hang on there a minute. Let’s look at some of this stuff a little closer...for inspection before you store it away.”

Lol, and that's only on reading, if I am writing well that is a whole other story. I can take hours to write because I have to find just the right words to describe or express, and that really drains my energy. So just know that when I say I really appreciate when someone has written something I really REALLY mean it.

.each planet is an archetype which symbolically and vibrationally relates to different energy patterns and meanings. Some say each planet has intelligent beings behind them who manifest and work with these energies and activate their archetypal meanings. Had used some of the information on each planet ( creating a powerpoint program) to teach a class on the meaning of the Planets to a bunch of students when I taught an "Astrology of the Planets" Zoom class at the beginning of the Pandemic.

The planetary energies ( and knowing their sign/house and aspects) are living forces that make up the blueprint of who we are as individual energetic beings. They give us spiritual and psychological clues of understanding what forces we are each working with and opportunities to use them to the best of our whole beings. They affect ourselves, our relationships, our communities and our larger world interactions also.
