I'm recovering from my latest illness. Honestly, my brain is still blurring, and my fingers are still numbing. But I'd like to say something before I might forget about it. To make Buddha's The 4 Noble Truths easiest to understand, without any religious jargon, it's about 1. the problem 2. its cause 3. its solution. 4. how to get that very solution.
We tend to like some elegant solutions, the truth is, sometimes the real solution is not, just a picayune. The point is no matter how those elegant solutions could solve our problems from time to time, now and then, but as long as we still don't find the real solution, the problem will still be there, waiting to make us so painful again and gain, never ending. P.S. Great thing about being serious illness is, it changes your worldview. Questions like should I buy that Kobo Sage or Kindle Oasis become very silly questions.

Go deep enough, and there is a bedrock of truth, however hard.

Hi Monty, Sorry to hear your having health problems, hope you make a full recovery and I do agree, illness can bring us down to earth and help us to see what’s really important. All the best.
