The men chartered a plane for a hunting expedition. As they loaded the plane for the return home, the pilot said: “This plane won’t take more than one wild buffalo. You will have to leave the other behind.”
The hunters told him that last year the pilot of a plane of the same size had allowed them to take two.
Doubtfully, the pilot finally said, “Well, if you did it last year, I guess we can do it again.”
The plane struggled upward but failed to gain enough height to clear one of the hills surrounding the airstrip.When the plane crashed, the hunters climbed out of the wreckage. One asked the other, “Where do you think we are?”
The other looked around and said, “I think we are about two miles from where we crashed last year.”
