I have always been open minded to alternative healing but not tried it personally until recently I was diagnosed with a condition which traditional medicine has no treatments for so decided to try acupuncture as my first port of call and am so happy to say it was extremely beneficial. Not a complete cure (yet )but definitely much improved. The practitioner who is amazing also teaches Qi Gong which I had never heard of but he threw in a free demonstration for me, bless him, and I now practice this daily which has added to the benefits of acupuncture and I can't recommend them both highly enough if you need non toxic, whole body healing.

Hi Hera, I believe you might be heard about Chi (Qi) or "life energy", gong-fu (kung fu), and Tai chi, right? Hence, "Qi-gong". They combine meditation, self-cultivation, life-energy (Qi/Chi) cultivation and/or martial arts.
Just want to share my personal experiences here. I had got bad migraine for almost 30 years (kind of at least 2-3 times a day). Try every powerful drug (ergotamine) on the markets just to be able to work day by day. Finally, I went cold turkey with the help of acupressure (no needle like acupuncture but with the same acupoints' system). I haven't needed any drugs for migraine for more than 6 years now. And after my long time research on this, even you press the wrong acupoints, it still works! No one really knows why. Wonderful! Ah! And the right herbs are also very helpful. For example, Phyllanthaceae for curing migraine.
And yes, (bad) eating habit is always the real culprit. So, healthy eating is always the key. As it's said, the right food is a medicine.
