Its been A Long Time - Reconnect

Hello everyone,

Its been a very long time since I was last here.. I have thought of this forum often and am so glad to see it is still going strong, albeit in a slightly different way.

I used to be called Sparklekaz on here, and I would love to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones. So if anyone of my old chat room and forum buddies are listening, reading.. please say Hi. Lets catch up. I would love to know how you all are and where you are at on your spiritual path at this time.

Don't know if it has been that long or my memory is not so good anymore, it took me a few second to recall your name. Apology! hahaha
So glad to see you here. And if you leave us again without saying anything, what will we do, Lorraine? :-)
Hope you (and your family) are fine. George told us about you from time to time. And our friends here who missed you (so much) felt relief that you are okay.

Hi Monty,

Its good to see you again my friend. I'm sorry for my sudden departure. Please know if I could have spoken and said my goodbyes I would have. I had no way of connecting with you all accept on here.. and that was not possible for a long time. I also had to change my fb details, so friends I had on there from here, I also lost. It was good to see Lorraine had found her way back. I could not remember her surname so could not track her down away from here either. Thank goodness I still had George, and was able to let him know I was ok. And my reasons for not being here. Though I'm guessing he would have been careful what he said and kept it simple.

I hope life has not been too hard for you with the Pandemic Monty. I know it has been very challenging and stressful for all of us in different ways. Having a spiritual view on life has helped to a degree. But still a very isolating and fearful time. It affects us on every level.

You know I was just kidding about your leaving, right? I knew for sure you didn't want to. If I remember it right, I've been here for 8-9 years, and you had been here even some years longer than me. Somehow, this forum become another one of your kids. (I'm earning my living as a writer, so I know the feelings of creating something for that very long time).
Lorraine is...hmm...give a a few second to think...yep! Cyberangel. And believe me, she will come here so soon.
About George, don't worry. He seemed to do very good work about keeping your secret. Kind of suspension movies.
In my country, the Pandemic is still not worse or worst like another countries (for example yours).
I just come to say goodnight (it's my time here).

P.S. I only came here from time to time, to read George and Charlie's posts. Without them, well...this place might even more silent. Everything has changed a lot compare to 10-20 years ago. Don't know why people have changed that much. It seems it's so hard to find the real spiritual forum like this nowadays. More than that, people seem to change a lot. As far as I know, it seems spiritual quest is not something most people want or need any more. (long sigh)

I can't access my old account, so seemed as good a name as any

I have had a very busy couple of years since I was here last. Nearly 3 years to be exact. I moved back to my hometown in Wales. Had a complete change of career. Im now a Community Carer for my local council. Its a job I absolutely love and wish I'd tried years ago. Very fulfilling. Enabling the elderly in my community, with support, to remain in their own homes as long as possible.

As you can imagine a big change from admin, secretarial work that I'd been used to. But neccessity pushed me to look outside of my box Its interesting though how what can seem at first to be a a major difficulty, turned out to actually pushing me into a career that best suits my sense of purpose. As in helping others.

Spiritually though, I've not had time to focus on that side of things. Though in many ways I see my job now as walking the walk, not just talking the talk Though now things have settled, i'm looking once more to my spiritual growth.

Hi George, lovely to see you here too. I've been keeping an eye on you through your FB page. I have been pleased to see you've kept your sense of humour and then some. I do hope to see more old faces on here. I've really missed the place.

I honestly don't know. As for me, the very reason I posted less and less and finally stopped posting because I kind of losing heart (if not losing faith). Sometimes, there were less than 5 clicks or someone who read my post (and it was my click a few times, just to check). hahaha

I didn't have a big ego that everyone had to read my post. But I wrote in the language that was not mine. It's still and always difficult for me doing that. If only I could write in my own language, that might be another story. hahaha I used to write a serious article (full page of newspaper) every week for years without any problem. However, I always respect the readers. If I found that they don't read what I wrote, or I'm not their favorites, their genre, why do I have to write in the first place, right? Because the will not read it anyway.

Thank to you and Charlie that still keep posting and keep this forum running. Thanks form my heart.

Anyway, now that Karen is back, though I'm not sure how much she could contribute (because of her new job), but I believe it's a good start, right? And every journey begins with...sorry, didn't mean to quote that. Let's say that I'll try to post more because at least I know that there still are someone who care to read my post. That's good enough for me. Hope that our old friends will join more and more later.

I would love to hear about your new approach, to help people. As far as I know you have a long time spiritual experiences, being a Reiki master (don't know how a female is called), and spiritual teacher (I recall that you had some videos on YouTube, teaching meditation, right?).
I kind of having direct experiences about this but let's focus only on you here. Could you still be able, for example, using Reiki to help people? Or it was complete different world and you had to use different approach? How the people there think about spirituality? Don't get me wrong, I do know that helping other is always the best spiritual way/practice/developing no matter what it's called.

Hello Karen,

Charlie (aceofcups) here... so happy to hear your doing ok in your new life.   Had a vague intuitive feeling of why you left etc.   I have been extremely busy again on-line in a variety of zoom classes - taking and now teaching on-line.  My astrology knowledge has been useful for getting some insight of energy cycles and stuff related to pandemic and helping others navigate through these challenging cycles.   We now do Therapeutic Touch healing treatments over Zoom with some success theses days.
