Worms in my third eye

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone here can help me interpret this dream.

I was basically pulling brown/grey worms out of my 3rd eye! I pulled one whole one and when I looked down there were already 4x halves of these warms, which I must've pulled before the final one. I remember this because I was figuring out in my dream how many worms I have pulled out in total... so it was 3.

When I looked inside my 3rd eye there were passages like in a cave, but they were clean and relatively bright. I had a thought and spoke to my partner just before waking up, saying "What if there are more hiding in there?"

It all felt like clearing things out (clearing my thoughts, 3rd eye, old habits?) but as you can imagine it was totally unpleasant.

Any help with further interpretation and insight will be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

Hi Aga,

Just a quick perspective on this dream.

Its interesting, anything connected to the Third Eye is. Metaphysically, this is the entrance, gateway to your connection to your higher self.

Worms are connected to processing waste, or getting rid of negativity. Be they negative thoughts or habits. They can also indicate poor self esteem. The body in dream symbology represents you, obviously. But its also a vehicle for your energy. If you have been working on your spiritual growth, this dream may be pointing you towards self introspection. For the purpose of letting go of anything that is holding you back. Self growth often demands us to be brutally honest with ourselves. Ask yourself, what is going on in my life that is affecting me detrimentally. Be it poor habits or even the people we associate with.

Within your third eye you saw caves. Caves symbolise introspection. Going within. Sitting quietly and meditating. Maybe distancing yourself for a while from any negativity. Have a clear out, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. As you say yourself, you feel the worms were clearing you out. I think you've hit the nail on the head their metaphorically speaking, yourself.

The number 3 represents the trinity, or Mind, Body and spirit. Be whole be healthy. To do this you need to look at these three things. On another level, are there 3 issues in your life at the moment that are troubling you or causing you stress. The keys to liberating yourself lie in your own hands.
