For what purpose.

During the earlier lockdown brought about by this pandemic, people started bulk buying, various items were sold out in supermarkets, leaving shelves empty and bare.
My thoughts on this matter, were, people were reacting out of fear, been spiritually minded, we tend to try, to not act out of fear, fear is the enemy.
But, to be practical, if this panic buying had got out of control, who would have been the ones to go hungry?
Those who acted out of fear or those who did not.
It doesn't really matter, what we believe, the simple fact of the matter is, we cannot separate ourselves from what the masses think and do.
Sure, we can isolate ourselves and live deep within a forest, or up the side of a mountain, but if life is a learning process, we have just taken ourselves out of the game.
Some claim those who surge ahead along the spiritual path, raise the vibration of those around them, this maybe be possible if that person had limited contact, but I do believe the opposite is more likely, the masses will drag the spiritual one down.
Even the story of Jesus bares the same resemblance, ridiculed, left running for their lives, eventually, tortured and murdered.
If we believe its a personal journey, save yourself, don't worry about anyone else, there will come a time when anger, greed and all the negative traits fall away, and you will be left vulnerable, like a lamb among wolves.
Don't fool yourself, that you will be left exempt from the negativities of others, because you have raised your game.
Hence the question, For what purpose?

Hello Robert .. nice to see you on-line. Sorry to hear about any difficulties, life has been giving to you with theses challenging energy cycles the world has been going through. Purpose is good question... personally, I think it depends on one's overall beliefs of how it all works.. and how energy patterns and cycles work out in the evolution of individuals, humanity and the world. Not saying I am right but how I see it ...

I do see spiritual progression as an evolutionary process and question the point or purpose of surging ahead individually.

Hi Robert,

I think individual evolution and group mass evolution are two streams of growth and both extend and take place over very long periods of time. And of course at their root and where they are heading are in essence unified.

They say an individual can progress quicker in awakening then mass consciousness can evolve... and as an individual progresses so does the groups he belongs to also progress. Sometimes group consciousness growth is so slow and gradual it seems like it is at a standstill or going in a retrograde motion.

Different cycles in time and history also have their own lessons and challenges. But real growth must be viewed from a very high overview to maybe see any forward movement.. but forward evolution overall is an inherent quality of life and living even if it doesn't seem so from personality viewpoints living through daily struggles in certain cycles in history.

Just my point of view.

I had a bit of an argument with a friend. She resented being stigmatized as being "low class". I never meant that as a ranking. It is very obvious when you outclass those around you. You no longer relate to them.

Some things you don't really choose. It comes with the growth process. A case in point: a lot of people marry and their spouses are a real blessing to them. Their mental health improves. Other people can't seem to comprehend the mating process and/or are too independent to form a union. Being celibate does NOT lead to spirituality but a life obsessed with growth might not be fair to a mate just seeking stability.

Which brings us to the perennial question: "why me?". To lead; to study; to cultivate wealth or power ( that at first glance doesn't seem such a burden); to be the martyr - could you honestly say you could live with yourself if you had the chance and walked away from it?

It can make hard viewing, watching the antics of those around you, more so, when its immediate family.
For some reason, you expect people to have grown as they get older in years, but no, they just become older, more bitter versions of their once youthful selves, and they see you as nothing more than that.
You would think, it would be possible to start afresh, now that there are more years in the past than the future, wrong again, the game is played until the opportunity arises to stick the knife in, or pull rank, power and money are all that count.
It might soften the blow if they were few in number, but unfortunately, it seems a pandemic in its own right, but for them the mind set is correct, attack before you are attacked, and they are right, having nothing to compare it with, but at the same time its very sad.

The only purpose for this life is to prepare for the next life.
As long as you create an evolved template for your next incarnation, you will be fine.
