I don't know if any of you have come across this guy before, I certainly hadn't, but I literally stumbled across him yesterday and have since listened to several of his You Tube talks.
They turn everything, every single thing, we have been taught by various religious, spiritual dogmas on its' head.
As some of you know, astrology is my thing, but i've been down a few different spiritual paths as well and they all preach the intrinsic rewards and punishments of various - they say, 'God made' - rules. Now here's a man telling a completely different story which appeals to me. Why? Because he says that the rules we should be following are not those we have been taught by society, religion etc., but what we in our life are here to choose to follow or not.
I need to think about it some more, and, as a rule driven Saturnian type, it's completely outside my ball park, but i'm still intrigued and feel as if there's a truth here.
I would love to hear others' thoughts on this if you have the time to watch and ponder. Thanks.

Hi Hera..
i've known about him for years... he has given many free lectures on the New age Spiritual circuit for last 25 years .. ( group talks like the astrology summit you introduced us to with lots of teachers)... He has lots of books out there with "God speaking to him - Conversations with God was name of books - I just remembered".
Be Interesting to hear which of his ideas interested you?. I can't say I have got into his stuff to much... his energy doesn't totally harmonize with mine .. it has always felt difficult when trying to listen to him. He has felt a bit depressive Saturnine to me and a bit ego driven.
Personally, I think he was conversing with his higher self or inner teachers perhaps,,, not "God",, which was funny title to me... and some of stuff that what came thought was for himself and his energy ( astro configuration he is working with). I personally do not believe in a personification of the Universal Consciousness ( godhead).
Just my two cents

Thanks for replying Charlie and I smiled when you referred to his Saturnine streak, after me talking about mine which made me wonder whether that could be why I 'aligned' with him in some way. Also, his Leo Asc could lend towards appearing egotistical? I looked at a lot more stuff in his chart and decided it was inappropriate for this post so deleted it, but I agree that what he is believing and 'preaching' is a manifestation of where his soul is in this incarnation.
Aside from that, to answer your question, as I mentioned above I have been involved with some different religions and get along fine until they start laying down rules and regs which is when my hackles rise and I head for the door, so Walsch's message that it's a matter of what we choose to do or not, believe or not, obey or disobey that brings us to where we need to be. In other words, acceptance of life as it is, brought about by our own choice will bring peace is what appeals to me.
Haha, and on that note it's back to studying evolutionary astrology which is a complete contradiction.........possibly?

Dear Hera
I think personally there is a way to blend both the Astrology energies understandings and at the same time understanding universal laws ... that we are all ONE.
We are One who has this level of circumstances as a evolving Soul.... because everyone's charts has multiple ways of manifesting..... you can have two people who have same chart but one can be using one set of energies of chart and another person with same chart is highlighting other aspects.... Each person using same chart may enhance some aspects over others.
Astrology is always a fascinating symbolic subject.
But in some way I also agree with what we choose with our energy configuration leads us to aligning to the essence of what we came to do this time around and what lessons and what relationships.

Neale Donald Walsh, read one of his books many years ago, and just do not click with the man, even though I can relate to some things he says. Wondering if this is all there is, I remember arguing with adults when I was a teenager on this topic, as they shrugged their shoulders and looked at me as if I had two heads, but maybe many people think that way at some stage of their life. There is without doubt more clarity and connection in the early hours, and time spent writing at this time is meant to open a connection, it is a common practice for writers and artists, to open up to creativity. As regards whether God has rules for us, how could we ever know and the same question must be asked for everyone who channels, how can you ever know who the information comes from.

I agree Mojomojo. We can't possibly know can we and it's always what sits most comfortably with our own particular set of values and, often, the religion we were brought up with. After making the original post I listened to some more You Tube vids and quickly became bored and disenchanted with the guy. I don't doubt that he thinks he is being given messages from God/Goddess (I noted that he interchanges the gender of the deity), but I think, as Ace said, that it's very much an ego driven trip which he chose for his personal evolution. I do think there are elements of what he says which hold some truth, but that is what is becoming more evident in the human psyche and evolutionary journey anyway. Thanks for your thoughts guys, always good to get some feedback
