Forum Is Back

After several days offline we have managed to sort the problems with the host company for the forum. They were very harsh and it looked like we would not be able to resolve the problem. However things are back to normal and I hope we can continue for many more years to come. The forum and the rest of the site is 12 years old. It would of been a big loss to all of us.

We have decided to keep a Spiritual Question section on the home site as many do not find the forum.

Thank you Leon.. for your hard work on restoring the forum. Missed it when I clicked on link and it said it was no longer working. I wrote a few things on the question and answer board last week... but that didn't seem to have the option like the forum does of editing. But thank you and Kaz both for keeping site going all theses years.

Thanks for you kind words ace. We set the other question page up quickly.. It did have problems like spacing, you had to click return twice. You could edit the messages but it was not ideal. We really thought we would not be able to resolve the problem. So we are seeing this as like a reprieve from a death sentence. Hopefully things get back to normal over the next few days.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to access the site for weeks and have not been receiving any notifications until one arrived today.
Has there been a problem on the site or has it been my end?
I have been able to access other proboards forums, but not this one.

Hi Hera,

No the problem has been this end, not yours. We ran into problems with proboards two or three weeks ago now. We did redirect traffic from here to our thegodlight home site with a small question and answer section for people to use until we could resolve the problem here. You should have seen that when you tried the old www.spirtualforum.me.uk link for this forum. It explains what has been happening. If you type in the usual link for here you will still get taken there and can read about it in more depth. Alternatively Hera, if you want to talk about this some more, I am in chat most days from 6pm onwards. If you pop in we can talk directly. I will watch out for you. I am glad you were able to get back on here. The link for this forum is now www.thegodlight.proboards.com if you book mark this you will still be able to access this forum easily. It has gone quiet because of the problems, but hopefully it will start picking up again. Since you were last on, Ace and I have both answered a post of yours on the dreamboard, if you have not checked that out already

Sorry to hear you have been having problems SparkleKaz, but relieved it wasn't me
I was redirected to the Godlight, but was asked for log in details which weren't accepted so was unable to access the site for some reason.
I will keep your current message and hopefully won't have a problem in the future.

Hi Hera,

I am well thank you. I hope you are too. The log in details for thegodlight are different to here, but easy to register with. No waiting for acceptance etc. The log in for chat is the same as log in for whatever password you use for thegodlight. If you have problems logging in, you can still chat as a guest. It is a bit of a pain, but hopefully will eventually sort it out.

Sometimes I think things change because they need to. We are looking at alternatives that will bring a fresher look to the forum. I hope to keep seeing you posting, as I do enjoy reading your posts. Remember, I am in chat daily if you want to talk in person. It would be lovely to see you there.
