Spiritual Vision I once had

Hello there!

Lately I've been thinking about a vision that I had during a (brainwash) evangelist christian camp when I was a teenager. I somehow started meditating and was looking/searching within myself. I had a brief vision of myself kneeling at the cross from a distant sideways angle on top of a hill. It was a little bit black and white and somehow a dark shadow came from the cross straight at me and I felt it somehow inside of me. After that I opened my eyes, it was pretty intense, and asked one of the leaders there what it meant. He said that it was the devil/demons keeping me away from the cross. The weird thing was that when he said that it didn't feel right to me. I was thinking about it again and was wondering if someone here could give me a different explanation or way to view it? If more context is needed ask away! I hope for your response.

Here is my intuition on your symbolic vision/dream

From a psychological standpoint we all have within us Shadow aspects within our individual consciousness... is is not an outside "Evil or Devil" persay -- just part of our own psyche which we must learn to deal with in order to truly integrate, evolve and grow.   In order to become Spiritually aligned and Whole Beings.

Many things in life are not just Black or White -- but a compassionate blending and being able to understand and also see the middle grey aspects of life and of people.   The Cross is made up of the vertical line of spirit with the horizontal line of Matter.  Both must be integrated and Lived.

Looking back I used to see everything very black and white, instead of also seeing the grey aspects of life.
