A venerable monk I personally knew once said, "the real happiness is only in your work".
Maybe it's very true (considering that I divorced twice and have had nothing left but only my job. ).
But I still wonder what if working becomes making money, even for earning a living?
Does a singer feel happy when he/she is singing?
Does a writer feel happy when he/she is writing?
Does a comedian feel happy when he's try to make a joke?

A man on the footpath was watching another man in the car and thought, if only he had a car like that he would enjoy taking his wife and kids to some beautiful beaches.
The man in the car was looking at the plane in the sky and thought, if only he had enough saving money he would enjoy talking his wife and kids to some beautiful foreign countries.
The man in the plan was also thinking if only he had his private jet...

The first bite of delicious food is very delicious. But what if you eat that same delicious food everyday for years?

Every time my (ex) wife was drawing her eyebrows, she (unconsciously) opened her mouth widely. Why was that?
Every time I was brushing my teeth, I (unconsciously) opened the tap and wasted lot of water without using it. Why was that?
My point is are we unconsciously wasting our happiness that way?

If so, what is happiness?
and what is your happiness?

I recently lost my earphone (headphones/headset, I really don't know how to call it exactly). I was a cheap Sony earphone (earbuds). I had to replace it every 3 years after it was broken (heard only on one bud). I think I bought/replaced it for 4-5 times over the last 12 years. It was not expensive and I liked its sound quality. (note-I do love listening to songs/music, so it a must for me). Anyway, I could not find that Sony earbuds I liked any more. No one sell it. So, I tried in-ear and on-ear headphone instead. It was very terrible experience. To make the long short, after I tried this and that and wasted some money (which I didn't have much to waste that way. hahaha), I've got a few earphones I liked. Why a few, not one? Because some earphones is good only for some kinds of songs/music! Then I realized another truth, I really wasted my time trying to pursuit something that wasn't there. No matter how good the earphones I got, I still cannot listen to any song I don't like with it. As for the songs I do like, no matter how bad the the earphones I got, I still enjoyed it. Sometimes, only humming that song in my mind without any earphones, still makes me feel good.
