Another "odd dream" last night. I hope it it symbolic. I am too old and disabled to do much physically. I was offered a trip with a group of people to go into outer space. I apparently didn't think much about it until it was time to go and I neglected to pack my bags. I did not even bother to change my dirty underwear! Since you don't board a rocket ship and shoot off the planet very often I knew I couldn't book a later flight. It was now or never come as you are. But I was not ready.
Only the night before I mysteriously picked two cards twice from the deck exactly the same even after shuffling them. The cards said to do "house cleaning" and discard the clutter.
Some kids in my dream reprimanded me for not considering the implications of being weightless in outer space and enjoying the effect. I don't remember my exact response but it was something suggesting even when you jump off a diving board you don't really think about hitting the water until you go SPLASH.
Somehow in the back of my mind I always thought or at least hoped something good would happen in my life. I waited and I guess gave up hope. What would it feel like to be in abundance and in the "land of milk and honey" ? I think I just need a few more years to prepare. A few more things to do. But my dreams tell me NOW .....

Hi George, I say it was a good dream. I laughed when I read what you talk about dirty underwear. So true. When I was a kid in school, whenever my barber cut my hair just a little bit shorter (say, only1 cm.), I lost my whole confidence and almost didn't want to go to school. Now, I'm almost 60 and see what happens? I hardly have my haircut because I don't care about it much. Besides, it saves my money. Anyway, today we already have a female barbers. The point is, any time they cut my hair, they always cut it shorter than I told them. I assumed that they liked it that way. I just laughed to myself. But I wonder if it was someone else? Wasn't this some kind of violation of a customer's right, my right?

Hi George, What a lovely dream. You are with a group of people to go into 'outer space'. Outer space in dream symbolism can have different meanings. One aspect is that it is a journey into the unknown. To prepare for this journey, there is an aspect of you that experiences great expectation, for a new and unusual experience or journey. It represents creativity and exploration. I can't help but think of that wonderful quote from my all time favourite TV series Star Trek. When Captain Kirk says "Space, the final frontier. To boldly go, where no man has gone before." The dream is manifesting your own desire to broaden your horizons. That on some level, irrespective of age, there is a part of you that is eternally young. You sense that this is not the end of your time of adventures, but the beginning of many more. Whether they happen in a physical sense or in a metaphysical - spiritual way. You neglect to take any baggage with you. This is such a wonderful statement in symbolic terms. As baggage represents unnecessary beliefs, habits and thought forms we carry around with us to define who we are. How liberating it is to just drop all that and leave it behind. You say you didn't even change your dirty underwear. Underwear symbolizes the covering we use to hide or protect the Self. It also symbolizes part of Self that is even hidden from us. So you are taking your hidden self with you on this journey; which is very illuminating. On some level, you feel where you are going, you can be yourself 'warts and all' so to speak. You say you cannot change your mind. This is a once in a life-time offer. As we age, I think we are all very 'time aware'. There is a sense of having to do all the things we've not done or have been leaving till a more convenient time. One day we wake up and realize.. its either now or never baby. So this is your unconscious telling you. Stop prevaricating. Get on with it. Grasp with both hands, whatever wonderful opportunities come your way. Don't let doubt or lack of confidence deter you. Believe in yourself. I love your humour George.. "some kids in my dream reprimanded me for not considering the implications of being weightless" Your response was "even when you jump off the diving board, you don't really think about hitting the water until you go splash". Which is basically you saying, don't worry about something, until or if it ever becomes a problem. Which is a reinforcing the message of the dream. Don't wait. Don't worry. Just do it. You say your not ready. But I think that can be said of many of us when faced with being pushed out of our comfort zone. Or asked to do something new. We hang on to what is familiar. I would say your dream world is reflecting your waking life, in as much as you are stepping out of your comfort zone more frequently. And are trying new things. I believe the universe is saying; You watch.. we are not done with you yet.. the best is yet to come. A great dream George. Please remember this is only my interpretation of it. Please only take from it that which resonates with you, and simply leave the rest. Love and light Kaz
