Hi
The following is an Alchemical puzzle. What does it mean to you?... explain all or parts of the puzzle. Are there statements within it that you agree with or disagree with?
"The key to life and death is everywhere to be found, but if you do not find it in your own house, you will find it nowhere. Yet, it is before everyone’s eyes; no one can live without it; everyone has used it. The poor usually possess more of it than the rich; children play with it in the streets. The meek and uneducated esteem it highly, but the privileged and learned often throw it away. It is the only thing from which the Philosopher’s Stone can be prepared, and without it, no noble metal can ever be created."

Hi Ace, I have been puzzling over your Alchemical puzzle for the last 24 hours, and started with trying to understand it as a whole. Having not got far with doing it this way, trying to tie them all-together. I've thought of a few things and changed my mind a dozen times, I've finally decided to tackle it by statement. And see if the thought process that this takes me on, will help overall. So here goes. The key to life and death is everywhere to be found, but if you do not find it in your own house, you will find it nowhere. My thoughts on this statement is love, happiness and peace of mind. The house being symbolic of ourselves. If we cannot find these things within ourselves, we will definitely be able to find them 'out there'. Anything that depends on others, or personal circumstances, can be taken from us. But self love, peace of mind must come from inside to endure. Yet, it is before everyone’s eyes; no one can live without it; everyone has used it. The air that we breathe? The poor usually possess more of it than the rich; children play with it in the streets. This is the one that I find the most difficult. I thought imagination, but the rich can be as imaginative as the poor. I thought dirt, but then who says a poor mans house is dirty. I thought time, but then the poor usually have less time than the rich. Same for friendship. I'm stymied with this one. The meek and uneducated esteem it highly, but the privileged and learned often throw it away.Time, Belief, Freedom and free will? It is the only thing from which the Philosopher’s Stone can be prepared, and without it, no noble metal can ever be created.Belief, faith hope and love. I am curious to see what the others put. I hope at the end of this you have an answer for us Ace.. I'm burning to know. Love and light Kaz

Isn't there a passage in the bible about this that could give some clues to solving this riddle?
