Hello everyone ! today i am going to share with you is my first article from my blog. It was first article so it was not that perfect.

on this planet
has asked oneself at least once in lifetime
that
why is he not helping me?
why is he not answering my prayers?
does he even exists?
...
Please don't worry he is not sitting idle in his throne in heavens.
If you think you are alone then you are a fool
yes he can see you,
he can hear you,
he can make your life good
and also make it hell.
Then why is he not showing himself ?
Why is he silent?
The answer to all this question can be answered by
asking yourself
what is your purpose of worshiping him?
there are many types of worship done by people
1) some pray to get something
2) some pray for something to happen
3) some pray to pass the examination
4) some pray to have a nice day
5) some pray for safety
it is not bad to pray for these things but
there some people ...
who pray for health of another person,
who pray for humanity,
who pray for world peace,
who pray for knowledge,
who pray for liberation,
but praying is not enough
There are also some extraordinary people,
who put their life on line to save lives,
who go out and help humanity,
who make world peace possible,
who strive and get knowledge,
who attain liberation
on their one...
they know god is always there to help
but they do their service
they don't wait for something to happen
they make it happen
they are yogis
A Yogi or Yogini follows path of yoga. Now yoga is NOT all about exercise.
Yoga is path to find truth .
Yoga is path between finite to infinite.
Yoga brings atma(soul) to Paramatma(supersoul).
Yoga is all about finding infinite inside this finite body.
Okay Okay leaving all philosophical things aside what really yoga is?
Yoga can be divided into FIVE parts :-
1)Hatha yoga
2)Bhakti yoga
3)Jnana yoga
4)Raaja yoga
5)Karma yoga
Bhakti yoga :Swami Vivekananda's explaination :Bhakti-Yoga is a real, genuine search after the Lord, a search beginning, continuing, and ending in love. One single moment of the madness of extreme love to God brings us eternal freedom. "Bhakti", says Nârada in his explanation of the Bhakti-aphorisms, "is intense love to God"; "When a man gets it, he loves all, hates none; he becomes satisfied for ever"; "This love cannot be reduced to any earthly benefit", because so long as worldly desires last, that kind of love does not come; "Bhakti is greater than karma, greater than Yoga, because these are intended for an object in view, while Bhakti is its own fruition, its own means and its own end."
Swami Abhedananda's explanation: BHAKTI YOGA teaches that the final end of all religions can be reached through love and worship of the personal God, who is the Creator and Governor of the phenomenal universe. It leads to the same destination as all the other branches of Yoga, but is especially suited for such as are emotional in their nature and have the feeling of love and devotion highly developed. It is for those devotees who, conscious of their own weakness arising from lack of self-control and of knowledge, seek help from outside; and who, taking refuge in the Supreme, pray to Him for forgiveness and for pardon of sins committed through ignorance of the moral and spiritual laws that govern our lives
Raaja yoga : It is based on Saankhya philosophy. Swami Vivekananda explained it very well "According to the Sankhya philosophy, the genesis of perception is as follows: the affections of external objects are carried by the outer instruments to their respective brain centres or organs, the organs carry the affections to the mind, the mind to the determinative faculty, from this the Purusha (the soul) receives them, when perception results. Next he gives the order back, as it were, to the motor centres to do the needful. With the exception of the Purusha all of these are material, but the mind is much finer matter than the external instruments. That material of which the mind is composed goes also to form the subtle matter called the Tanmâtras. These become gross and make the external matter. That is the psychology of the Sankhya."
Swami Abhedananda's explanation :HATHA YOGA is wholly devoted to the control of the functions of the body and to the mastery of the physical forces, its ideal being a sound constitution, well-fitted to overcome those physical and environmental conditions which stand as obstacles in the path of spiritual progress. Râja Yoga, on the contrary, deals entirely with the mind and psychic power and may be called the science of applied psychology. Its aim is to remove all mental obstructions and to gain a perfectly controlled, healthy mind. The main purpose of its training is to develop and strengthen the will as well as the power of concentration, and to lead the seeker after Truth through the path
Hatha yoga: Swami Abhedananda explained it as "HATHA YOGA is that branch of the Science of Yoga which teaches how to conquer hunger, thirst, and sleep; how to overcome the effects of heat and cold; how to gain perfect health and cure disease without using drugs; how to arrest the untimely decay of the body resulting from the waste of vital energy; how to preserve youth even at the age of one hundred without having a single hair turn grey, and how thus to prolong life in this body for an indefinite period. Anyone who practices it will in the course of time acquire marvellous powers; powers indeed, which must dumbfound a psychologist or anatomist.

Jnana yoga: Swami Abhedananda's explaination :Jnâna Yoga, the path of wisdom. The word "Jnâna," being derived from the Sanskrit root Jnâ," to know, means knowledge; and the ideal which it holds up before its followers is the realization of that Absolute Truth, which is the one common source of all subjective and objective phenomena in the universe. It teaches that there is one life, one Being, one Reality, and that all notions of distinction and differentiation, that all beliefs in the permanent duality or multiplicity of existence are unreal and illusory.
Karma yoga: Again Swami Abhedananda's explanation :Karma Yoga teaches that the cause of the suffering, misery, disease, and misfortune, which overshadow our earthly life, lies in our own actions. We reap the fruit of that which we ourselves have sown. These causes are within us. We should blame neither our parents nor any evil spirit for our sufferings, but should look within ourselves to discover the source thereof. This branch of Yoga likewise describes the secret of work, by knowing which we can remove all causes of bondage and suffering, and enjoy freedom, peace, and happiness both here and after death. It tells us that every action inspired by the motive of desire for results attaches the soul to these results, and consequently becomes a source of bondage. The secret of work consists in working for work's sake and not
for fruits. If this principle be applied to the actions of our daily lives, then every work done by us will help us to advance toward the perfect emancipation of the soul. Whoever performs his duties understanding the secret of work, becomes truly unselfish and eventually gains knowledge of his real Self, which is immortal and divine.
