Hey guys, I have a pendulum I pretty much adore it and I can say that it's very accurate. The more I use it the more I feel the energies guiding me. I've tried asking a question I usually get very emotional over, over and over again trying to be as detached as possible but inside I felt that my ego was calling and I felt like I've been mislead whenever I asked it. But the rare thing is that whenever I did I felt a strong pull towards a yes and I knew it wasn't me, it were the spirits. I've asked them if I was manipulating the pendulum to get the answer I want and it told me no. It told me that it was them guiding me. It's hard to believe because the answer is positive and I have a hard time believing in anything too good to be true anymore. I've asked other questions when I felt quite emotional and to my surprise the answers were not what I expected or wanted them to be. So any suggestions. Do you think I am manipulating the answer by being slightly emotional?

In my limited experience the magnitude of the swing can depend on how much emotion I have invested in the answer. At other times I even ask my pendulum if it is ignoring me. Not surprisingly under those circumstances I am less likely to get ANY movement. Apparently your subconscious can detect if you are contradicting yourself. So at one instance I do get some impressive results. But at another instance I only get what I am capable of manifesting. Before any attempt I order my pendulum to BE STILL. If it won't then I can not either. Sort of like the prelude to meditation. I have never been able to go beyond that.
Sometimes I don't even try to get answers from my pendulum. I just use it as a gauge to see how calm I can be ...

Hi Pami, I was looking for the different meaning between start and begin (English is not my first language). Then, I found someone writing this somewhere on the internet: I thought, wow! that was the good explanation. Then, I saw another guy wrote: Again, I thought, wow! that was even better one. But finally, I read the last one writing this: The point is, our mind always (unconsciously) swap the meanings we are interpreting. I had used three coins to get the answers from I Ching (Book of changes) for 25 years but have quited it for the last 10 years. Like pendulum, it's the same system to communicate with our unconscious mind (inner guidance, inner wisdom, inner spirit etc.) It's the system of connection of the whole body, mind, and and inner guidance. If you mind sways, so does your hands, hence you'll get that particular (swayed) answer in (only) that particular moment. Once I asked I Ching, "Can I trust it (I Ching)?" and got this answer: "It is not I who seek the young fool; The young fool seeks me. At the first oracle I inform him. If he asks two or three times, it is importunity. If he importunes, I give him no information."Wow! Even ancient wisdom is also sooo sensitive! lol P.S. I like what George (Gruntal) said, "Sometimes I don't even try to get answers from my pendulum. I just use it as a gauge to see how calm I can be..."
