Is there a Creator?
Did the universe just appear or is there a Creator? What do you think?
You are reading this message either on a smart phone or a computer or perhaps, a printout. Who made each one of these? Did the gadget, the paper, the pen, the computer appear on its own or is somebody responsible to create what you are reading? This message has come to you but who sent you this message? Did it come by chance or did somebody send you this message? Obviously, there is somebody, some power that is creating, sustaining, managing the universe. We don’t know who, we don’t know where, we don’t know what, but there is a power – a power that creates. We are unable to comprehend this power because this power is beyond our understanding, but to deny the power is wrong. We must accept that we don’t know who the power is, where the power is and what the power is, but to say that there is no power and to say that all this is a coincidence or all this is just energy or by claiming that all this is just natural, what are we trying to say? Are we attributing this amazing creation of the universe to nothing or are we attributing this amazing creation of the universe to some power? Can we say that everything just appeared or is it not right to say that there must be a cause for this effect, because there is something in this universe, due to which you and I have come into existence?

To my understanding it is someplace in-between in Consciousness.
I do not see the creator as person or a personification with human-like traits. or that things just randomly happen.
I do totally accept that this never-ending consciousness and force does work within created universal laws... on multiple levels of its being...... set up by this supreme consciousness in the overall game plan of a never-ending process of both involution and evolution on multiple Universes.
The God-head is not judgemental to me.... meting out gifts or punishments to some and not to others.... it is source-consciousness of a LAWFUL LOVING UNIVERSE...... and within that ALLness includes Positive Compassionate Activity and also more negative and selfish ego desires and actions which ALL fall under Laws and must be balanced out in the course of relative time - however long that takes.
Being more compassionate with ourselves and others, also wisely understanding the nature of failures etc. -- helps moves us forward on the path of evolution. We become more and more responsible for learning the laws of life, and likewise helping others etc etc.

I have asked this question myself so many times. Here are some possible explanations.
1. The physical universe/creation has always existed and is generated by a bunch of patterns rearranging in massive number of ways/combinations just like a computer program. Scientists seems to lean towards this approach i think.
* If this Hypothesis is true it is likley that consciousness is an illusion and there really is no self at all? and perhaps not even an afterlife. And did anyone program these patterns? Last time i checked, a computer program had a programmer/coder.
- Problems with this approach is that the issue of free will remains unsolved. It still hasen't been (to my knowledge at least) a reliable scientific experiment to disprove free will and therby proving determinism.
2. The Universe and all that we know was created by a civilisation with superior technology to our own.
- Problem with this approach. Who created their civilisation and so on... This explanation suddenley seems less likley.
3. The creator is a subtle "physical like" network that exists inside of matter like in the movie (Avatar). This explanation is possible and far more likley from a scientific point of view.
- No evidence for this has been found (yet).
4. There really is a creator who always existed. A super intelligent life form, very different from us. This explonation is also possible i suppose. But more difficult to understand.
Some questions;
Where is memory and information stored? How can a child evolve so quickly from newborn to grown up in a few years only? Yes yes, DNA is a magic pill with all information. But where did it come from? From what did it evolve?

As I understand Einstein concluded, as a step in logic, that any given universe that was bound by it's own rules of chemistry and physics was also limited by those very rules. At one level things just could not exist if they went beyond the rules. But at another level it seemed logical to assume there had to be some set of rules greater then the ones below it that defined everything below it as a sort of constraint.
If that is so then there always had to be something greater then the reality any one being was experiencing.
We think there are barriers - artificial imaginary fences - we imagine when are too scared to venture forth. But there are also seemingly a myriad of things we can experience in our reality too. It is not luck or blind chance if we are able to break out of our physical existence but because we experienced and exhausted every possibility. Then and only then could we feel we had done EVERYTHING and were entitled to go on.
Which of course begs the question: is the Cosmos chaos or is there a natural order ? If the latter is true then who or what is directing it? If not are we doomed to self destruct because things like truth and beauty just do not exist except as a delusion?

If you want detailed model of universe and how it was created according to Srimad Bhagwatam then please refer to this amazing article from Dr.Vineet Agarwal :- decodehindumythology.blogspot.in/search/label/Creation%20by%20Brahma According to Hinduism , the universe is divided into two parts , spiritual and material. We live in this material dimension and we get so attached to things. In Hinduism there was no white-bearded god who created the universe but it was the god who created a white-bearded man to create universe. The white bearded man or his traditional name Lord Brahma created all this that we see today. How did he created all this well he was the first being in this universe so he got all knowledge straight from the god! no impurity in that knowledge . The knowledge he got is called 'Veda' . with that knowledge we might even learn to materialize things but sadly 'veda' knowledge is quite lost and we only handful of it remaining. By "original" knowledge of veda (which is lost today) we could be able to do anything even bend laws of physics(laws of god? . Now straight to my point the universe was there ,is and will be forever. If you have patience to witness cycle of creation ,maintenance and destruction then be ready to wait for 311.4 trillion years .
