Yes, Sparkle Kaz. It's spiritual because the songs I have chronicled relieve the listener appreciating them of stress as well as entertain. These songs give one joy, sentimentality and freedom of expression by sharing them to others. If you listen to the melody of each while disregarding or not the lyrics make us reminisce from that point in time when we were still younger, energetic and romantic. I could have danced all night. That's why it's spiritual. Why? Because music in any form inspires lovers and dancers. Music helps one remembers his past. Down memory lane. Songs open the memory cells giving us visions of people, places and things we use to know, visit and cherish. Do you agree music is the language of the soul?

Hi krsnaraja,
I do agree, music can be extremely uplifting. I guess many of us have a favourite song that when we listen to it, reminds us of different times in our lives. I have found music to be extremely evocative in this way. There are a few on your list that I love. Endless love - Lionel Ritchie & Diana Ross, where is the love - black eyed peas, your not alone - michael jackson, Another day in paradise - Phil Collins.
My own favourites too are If you leave me now - Chicago, I am a woman in Love - Barbara Streisand, I will go on (Titanic Theme) Celine Dion, Circles in the sand - Belinda Carlisle, Girls just want to have fun - Cyndi Lauper and many more. Particularly loved Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson and The jacksons - Michael jackson. Be nice to hear other people's favourites too.
