Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm sure you guys can help me. I have a problem with my intuition regarding a situation, sometimes when I'm very emotional or more inclined to take a more pessimistic approach to my everyday life, I would suddenly feel like what I'm waiting for is never going to come or that I have to give up hope on it sort of. Sometimes I'm just sad because I convince myself that this is real and don't know if I'm actually being realistic or simply fearful. I know inuition is neural, but I don't know how to tap into it without fearing the answer. Sometimes whenever I'm more optimistic about life, good mood kind of day, hopeful about the future, I don't hesitate and feel very clearly, almost like (no way, this is too good to be true way) especially late at night. I would feel like I'm more open minded, calm and assured that it will come. And then the next day I pick up a totally different vibe and I wonder, what the heck was I thinking last night, that's the reality of the situation and I upset myself again... How can I find a balance, and how can I better know if everything I'm picking up is real and not just wishful thinking or fear?

Hi Pam, Its lovely to meet you, welcome to our forum. I think that many people can at times relate to how your feeling, myself included. When we are feeling calm and happy, being optimistic comes very naturally doesn't it. However, when we are feeling anxious and uncertain, our thoughts are chaotic, confused, and in that state of mind it is hard to make for want of a better words, a good decision. Look at the information we have, and make a rational and thought out choice. Fear, anxiety does tend to muddy the waters. When I'm feeling like that, I hold back and do nothing, until things settle, I become calmer and the way ahead seems clearer. You are talking about using your intuition, I'm assuming to help guide you, to make the right choices in life, to be creative, and visualize what you want and work towards it. As I understand it, our intuition works best when we are feeling calm. I don't know what kind of spiritual practice you have, or if you have one, but can I ask do you meditate? Because meditation and there are many different ways of doing it, is for many the best way of calming an anxious mind. Also meditation encourages letting go of expectation. Of having preconceptions. If you can achieve this state, and it takes practice - or at least sitting quietly, and making a conscious decision to let go of 'busy mind', I believe you will then start to connect better with your intuition and get the most from it. If you are worried about what your intuition is going to tell you, then already you are bringing you own will to bear, and influencing the intuition. So it stops being intuition, and simply reverts back to your own confused thoughts. if that makes sense. I hope this helps Pam.. happy to talk more about it. Love and light Kaz

Love and light Kaz Hey, thanks for the reply I do kind of mediate sort of especially alone at night, just when I'm calm and peaceful and not rushed or worried. I strongly pick up that yes it will come at its own pace and time and that everything is going to be okay so no more worries or anxieties, the upcoming changes are for the best in the long run. It feels so warm inside my chest. But the next morning I'm like no way that's too good to be true I'm just gonna stick to the facts and only expect the worst or worry way too much about the outcome. I guess I should meditate everyday so I could feel more in tune with my inner self. I know the unvierse shows me many signs that it has my back but because I went through so much emotional trauma over the years it's hard to trust in life again. Its draining my energies.

Hi Pam, I can relate to that 'warm feeling in the chest'. When we are anxious, chest can feel tight and heavy. That warm feeling to me, is a letting go of the anxiety, and as the circulation returns to that area it relaxes and warms up. On another level, you are probably experiencing your heart chakra returning to a normal rhythm. Its a wonderful feeling of relief, that you 'just know' on a deep level, that everything will be ok. That things are being taken care of. Oh how wonderful it would be to be able to stay in that feeling always. But, as you noticed, waking up the next morning it has dissipated. It sounds to me as if you are suffering from generalized anxiety, and its well known that when someone is in that state, mornings can be really difficult. It is as if you wake up from a deep sleep, where for a while you have been able to forgot all about your worries; then wham, the conscious mind kicks in again, and it all comes rushing back at you. The worry, the fear, and it can feel overwhelming. Try if you can, at least until you can get a hold on it, and your mind slows things down and back into proportion to distract yourself. Focus on something simple, or mundane, like doing the household chores. Which are great for helping us come back down to earth. Realize, that mornings are a tricky time for you. And make a conscious decision, to not think about anything worrying or beyond your control. At least until you are feeling more settled into the day. As human beings we are very bad at surrendering, and just allowing life to unfold naturally. We want to control things. But the truth is, only part of what happens to us, is down to us. Other people, those we interact with. Those who are part of the problem, or solution, depending on which way you look at it. They influence what happens to us. Its not just all about us, and the choices we make. Others, are the unknown factor. We cannot predict, what they are going to say and do. What the consequences of their actions will have upon us. I have found some degree of peace through understanding this. That just because bad things happen, doesn't always mean things are going to get worse. I've come to see, that sometimes, big changes, even distressing uncomfortable ones, need to happen to bring about changes that will ultimately be beneficial to me. That the difficulties I experience, are there to help me grow and mature as a person. That what I learn will help me some time in the future, even if I cannot envision it now. I truly believe that all things have a purpose. There is a little prayer that I know, and its called 'The Serenity Prayer'. It has helped me in the past, and find it very comforting. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can And wisdom to know the difference." I guess what I'm trying to say is, even though you cannot see it now, or may not even for a while, everything that is happening to you is for a purpose, and that it will ultimately be for your highest good. So surrender your worries and fears to a higher power, and know, that you are being watched over and taken care of. Most of all know, believe, that you are loved. Keep up with the meditating, and your connection to your intuition will improve. Love and light Kaz

The Little Prince Quotes
“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
“When someone blushes, doesn't that mean 'yes'?”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

Thank you for the beautiful messages Kaz, it really helped me to realize that is all in my head and that by worrying and fearing would make the waiting process more stressful than good and exciting. I've been in similar situations before accompanied by that same kind of reassuring warm feeling and I would usually surrender to circumstances and oh boy, wonders happened, it even helped me manifesting things using the laws of attraction because I wasn't resistant to anything or anyone. I don't know why I approach this change in a such way now, I guess it's because recently with all those moon transits, and planet movements has caused some turmoil and insomnia and basically was the root of all this.
Take care.

Hello Pami619, I do not know where you got the numbers 619. Maybe it`s the date of your birth, June 19. It`s the number of my license to practice medicine, 61900. 619 is the symbol for yin and yang separated by 1. Krsnaraja

Hi Pami, There was a TV Series I liked called, "Early Edition" (1996–2000). Gary Hobson got tomorrow's newspaper today. He didn't know how. He didn't know why. All he knew was when the early edition hit his doorstep, he had twenty-four hours to set things right. And on the second episode, he had faced with the choice of saving a little girl from dying of injuries resulting from a hit-and-run accident or tried to prevent a plane crash which would end the lives of nearly 200 people. These two tragedies were going to occur in the same afternoon, and Gary could not be in both places at the same time. He finally chose the a little girl because he had promised her to help her. And he convinced a doctor to save her life. And she was saved in the last minute, almost too late as no one knew about her condition (her injury was deadly serious than it looked). When the doctor told him this good news, Gary still felt sorry about those 200 people in plane crash. Suddenly, a pilot rushed into the hospital and asked for the little girl. He was his father. And his plane didn't take off because he got a phone call about his little girl. So, there was no accident, no plane crash! What I've tried to says is, intuition always works this way. Intuition has nothing to do with reasoning. It's the right brain's thinking, not the left brain. You can not reason that you it get such and such results/outcomes. The outcome that is right for you will come to you by itself, naturally. You just open for it and don't interfere with this process. Wasn't it your intuition that made you come to this very forum?

This one`s fresh I was alarmed when our four year old grand daughter, Atasha, had ran a mild to moderate fever, vomiting & diarrhea. Being a doctor, I treated her with an anti-pyretic, Ibuprofen, which worked. I also gave her an antibiotic, co-trimoxazole ( Bactrim ) because she has a history of urinary tract infection. I felt her diarrhea was caused by E.Coli that has managed to infect her gastrointestinal tract. To prevent dehydration, I let her drink in small, frequent sips Gatorade. For vomiting , I gave her Motillium. I was sure she`d get well sooner than I thought. But her condition worsened. Until my 25 year old daughter Melsa , a registered nurse called me on the mobile phone suggested I gave Atasha this medicine Erceflora. My medical acumen questioned. I told my wife Celsa maybe it`s better we send our grand daughter to the hospital for further work-up. From the Clinic while we were heading for home ( sulking ) suddenly I changed my mind and bought Erceflora at a nearby drugstore, Only to find out it is not Ercefuryl, an intestinal antibiotic. That it is a vial containing per 5 ml 2 billion of Bacillus clausii. This helped our grand daughter Atasha get well. Thanks for the intuition ( minus pride ).
