drowning or swimming?

I've just come across this book cover on the internet. I translated it around two decades ago from Dostoyevsky's The Dream of a Ridiculous Man. I designed the book cover myself (I still used my pen name that time). It was said, "Schizophrenia is to mystical experience as drowning is to swimming." And I found that particular Schizophrenia drawing was so close to the painting in BhagavadGita, The Flammarion engraving (wood engraving by an unknown artist) and some new age paintings. :-)
Needless to say that I failed. My readers didn't like the cover. hahaha

Thanks for you kind words. I'm left-handed. hahaha.

I read a lot about psychiatry. Why do people become insane? Or even someone who were into spirituality. I used to meet someone who were practicing mindfuless and could "see" their own thoughts. But they didn't know how to handle it rightly and became not normal. This was not different from schizophrenic persons who heard "devil" talking in their heads. :-)
