We moved into the Sign of Pisces last night and for the next Month. Pisces, ruled by the energy of the planet Neptune, is said to be to connected with Dreams among many other things. We also have a Full Moon on Monday February 22, 2016. As a general rule peoples Dreams are usually more important and in some people more remembered in this cycle.
So just posting this heads-up if one finds oneself having more visual, pronounced Dreams especially in the next week or so. ( we also have the transiting Sun conjunct the transiting Neptune on the 28th- which only happens once a year and gives an additional dream connection).
Have your Dream journal and writing apparatus close to your pillow... and Happy Dreaming.

Hi Ace, Sounds wonderful. Should I be ready then, for a sudden influx of dream's to interpret? I will keep my own dream diary handy also. Thank you so much for sharing. Love and light Kaz

Hi Kaz,
if the energy manifests as it usually does... I would certainly say YES about your question about getting more Dreams to interpret.

I already had my first whopper last night. The locomotive was pulling out and I had to get on it but there wasn't any room. Plus it was draped in a shroud and looked more like a hay stack. I was told to just grab a hold of anything and hang on for dear life and surprisingly it worked! I was more agile then I thought I was . Oddly all the people disappeared and then I had no fear of being over crowded or shoved off. Or kicked off I guess.
In the beginning of the dream I was just standing by the tracks and wondering why such a find parade of antique steamers were out for the day. You don't normally see steam locomotives out in force like that. One diesel engine seems to be running off the tracks and almost ran over me!
Sometimes life is frightening and sometimes life is exciting. Either way it gets very interesting ....

Being one, who never remembers dreams, except on the odd occasion, your post has definitely struck a chord, Ace.
Last night I dreamt, there was a lot of people, walking into my house and helping themselves, they were walking out with t.v.'s, couches etc. My reaction to this escapade, was to hit them on the head with a very large wooden mallet, which seemed to render absolutely no effect, wherein, they kept on emptying out my house. So, I stood there watching them, and threw my arms up in the air, as in, what do you do, but there was no upset, just leave them to it.
Wonder if I get the sequel tonight.
Not sure if it's the influence of the stars, or the power of suggestion, but had another dream tonight, two nights in a row. Either that, or Ace has found a way of planting stuff in my head, while I sleep.

I have an enormous amount of natal Neptune contacts and, unsurprisingly, a corresponding amount of dreams.
I have had vivid dreams since childhood and to this day, never, ever, have a nights sleep without them, in fact it would make a pleasant change to go to sleep and wake without the intrusion, because that's how it feels, of myriad images and scenes relating to current, past and future scenarios in my life.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to sleep without all this going on night after night, as it can be distressing sometimes as well as impacting the following days' emotional state?
I also find it difficult, as, having had some predictive dreams which of course it's impossible to clarify until the events happen, to shake off the fear each day that the previous nights dreams were a warning of some impending event.
Neptune is not a comfortable bedfellow for this girl and I would happily ditch it's influence.
Thoughts please?

Hi Hera,
Try putting a piece of Amethyst under your pillow. I have found that it does help, and if I do dream, my dreams are more peaceful. Amethyst is also very good for anyone troubled by nightmares.

Hi Hera... a suggestion would be to try to get yourself in a more quiet and peaceful state of mind before going to sleep... do you do any things in your life that can help you get into quieter space of mind? Meditation, perhaps relaxing music. Doing a body scan meditation slowly relaxing each part of your physical body.. starting at you head and going all the way down to your feet... as you slowly focus on each section of your body... asking,,, " may this section be here now calm and relaxed and at peace". Also no TV watching before going to sleep helps.
You can try the amethyst as Kaz said -- see if that helps -- but realize that crystals are also under the energy jurisdiction of the planet Neptune also... so see if it works and does not increase the Neptunian etheric dreaminess or hopefully as Kaz says your dreams become more peaceful using it.
If you are living under Neptune... some use trying to get your dreams more peaceful and uplifting by saying a pray or asking your inner self and guides for help in the process, helps some.
peace, ace

Thank you all for your suggestions they are appreciated. I practice meditation every day and always have a period of calmness when I get into bed. I tried using Amethyst for a couple of years Kaz, but didn't notice any difference to the dream frequency, nor content. Prayer and contact with my guide is also ineffective so it looks as if this is going to be something i'm going to have to accept. I think with so much Neptunian influence on me it's inevitable really, just that my other strong influence Saturn is really uncomfortable with not having control and that's possibly a reason for the nightly shenanigans. Thanks again everyone and perhaps I should open a thread on astrology about how conflicting planetary influences affect our lives totally, conscious and subconscious, awake and asleep

Hi Hera... I find it good to realize that all planetary energies and there manifestations - have both a more challenging and also a very beneficial and growth oriented process -- and we have some degree of choice which way it will swing ( sometimes that takes work).
If it is part of our blueprint the types of energy that will play out in our lives. Sometimes people with lots of difficult planetary aspects need to work through karmic experiences related to that configuration. But karma can also bring beneficial experiences in our life.
We don't just randomly get challenges and choices by some God-figure meting it out - to me they are both just spiritual laws of energy playing out.
Hera - What would be the positive way Saturn and Neptune energies can work together?.. examples - making practical use of ones dreams,, keeping a dream journal etc... Or as you wrote in other post the forward looking and acting Uranus with the more practical and past looking status-quo oriented Saturn. Meditate on those seemingly opposite types of energy in yourself and see where they can learn to work together and harmonize - write down your finding for yourself.

Well, the dreaming continues and, although I sometimes bemoan their presence, the symbolism continues to fascinate me. If I may offer two dreams that I had over the weekend while staying with my family for Easter; 1. I dreamt the first night that I was watching someone have one of their arms cut off at the shoulder. He was writhing in agony, but they would not stop. Two days later I woke with a crippling pain in my shoulder and am now practically unable to use that arm. I believe this is the first time I have ever had a violent dream, but, as stated before, not the first predictive, although I didn't expect it might be personally relevant while dreaming it. 2. The next night I found myself in a sexual situation with a much younger man which is ridiculous, as I am well past that type of thing and never have thoughts of that kind. Later that day I was checking out astrological transits and there is a current conjunction of Mars (masculinity and sexuality among other things) and Saturn (amongst other things, time and old age), so to have that dream fascinated me, because it seemed to bring influences to my dreaming subconscious which are totally irrelevant for me now and I was aware while I was dreaming that it was inappropriate. Incidentally, my chart is ruled by both saturn and mars..... Strange how we can be influenced by the planets even while sleeping isn't it, but then I suppose not really, as we are still inhabiting the same form, it's just not aware in the same was as when we are awake

Hi Hera, I am afraid I am not much use from the astrological perspective, that is Ace's area of expertise. But I can share some insight on the dream symbolism of your dreams, that you might find interesting to read. Below are your dreams. 1. I dreamt the first night that I was watching someone have one of their arms cut off at the shoulder. He was writhing in agony, but they would not stop. Two days later I woke with a crippling pain in my shoulder and am now practically unable to use that arm. I believe this is the first time I have ever had a violent dream, but, as stated before, not the first predictive, although I didn't expect it might be personally relevant while dreaming it.In dream symbolism the people within our dreams, even those we know well, are still symbolic of an aspect of the dreamer. In metaphysical and esoteric terms, it is believed that man and women all hold within themselves the energies of both male and female, regardless of their gender. The man in your dream represents the masculine energy within. Masculine energy is the assertive, aggressive, strong side of self. Rationality, practicality, intellect, consciousness and will. To see a man in your dream can be a way of the unconscious mind urging you to either embody more of these male qualities, particularly if in waking life you have been a little submissive or lax at resolving a problem. Or it could be asking you to question yourself; as in are you being too practical in your approach to something that needs a more intuitive, relaxed perspective to resolve. As you are the dreamer, only you will know if this makes any sense or if you can relate it to anything that is going on with you right now. My intuition guides me to the former reason, rather than the later. Which is borne out by the fact, the young man is having a limb forcibly removed. This is more worrying because it can indicate that outside factors are inhibiting you. Or pressure brought to bear from an external source that is inhibiting your ability to be yourself, or do things your way. Just something to think about Hera. In your dream the man was having one of his arms cut off. Was it the left or the right? Arms in dream symbolism represent an expression of power and energy or an extension of the self. The left arm is connected to receiving or bringing in. The right to sending or giving out. To have the limb cut or amputated represents a giving up of power, or cutting off of what the dreamer believes to be unnecessary parts of self, which in truth need to be integrated rather than rejected. For example the loss of the Right arm means you are no longer giving to self or others. Left arm means you are no longer receiving energy needed to renew or rebuild. Any dream connected to the body is also reminding you how important it is to keep it healthy and whole. So if you have been neglecting this area of your life. Or ignoring any aches and pains, health issues; its time you got them checked out. In dream symbology, intimacy within a dream is rarely simply a literal thing. Though I do not believe there is anything wrong, or unnatural in having a sensual dream at any age. This is very interesting Hera, because again we have another male. But in this dream you are enjoying each others company. Rarely is a sexual dream just about sex. This is about the merging of male and female energies. Bringing the qualities of male and female into balance. We have talked in the earlier dream about what are deemed as male attributes. Female qualities are the creative-intuitive, receptive, emotional, nurturing side of self - related to feelings and the unconscious. It can also indicate a need for this type of release to bring the body back into harmony. And this is being accomplished within the dream. Our dreams are rich source of insight and guidance Hera. Nothing is inappropriate, and rarely is something what it first appears to be. When we sleep, the body is resting and the unconscious mind rises to the surface. Allowing us to work through feelings, thoughts and problems that we may have ignored or repressed in our waking life. I also believe healing can occur when we are in this state. If we allow it, our bodies and higher selves know exactly what we need to become healthier, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. To be whole. Well that is my two cents worth, as Ace would say I hope this has given you some extra insight Hera, as always, please remember this is only my interpretation of your dreams, please only take from it that which resonates with you, and leave the rest. Love and light Kaz

Hera,, here is my two cents!!
Besides the wonderful interpretation that Kaz shared... let me look at it from an astrological energy perspective.
When one has an astrological transits or aspect... it is a symbolic archetypal energy pattern in one's etheric body floating around. Which if one is sensitive one can pick up those energy patterns. Both images of the dreams has a bit of the Mars/ Saturn energy -- Mars having to do with aggression and violence ( the arms cut off) and Saturn's energy is about taking away and limiting physical forms. But as you said it could also be a insight from your psyche about your own shoulder troubles coming in... or even a blending of both as dreams can blend and mix up different symbols.
And yes Mars also has to do with sexuality and it is now transiting thru the sign of Capricorn ruled by Saturn (and both Saturn and Capricorn align with the mature elder archetype.) One of interpretations of the Mars in Capricorn/Saturn among others could be sexual encounters of the elderly or dream images of them appearing.
What if anything why those dream images appeared to you... is for you to ask yourself and your higher for insight if it was trying to tell you something to do etc or was it just the energy patterns floating around in your field and you picking it up.

Thanks you so much Kaz and Ace for your insights into these dreams. The first dream interpretation (which involved my left arm being removed) would seem to be very accurate, as since then I have been engaged in some heavy duty spiritual practices, trying to take personal responsibility for life and spiritual growth and forward movement from a place where I was desperately praying and asking for help from outside myself (e.g. God/Ess, guardian angel, etc). I had at that time started reading something which has been enormously helpful and enlightening which states that when you do start growing spiritually, it can often be accompanied by passing physical pain, as the body is affected by the changes in your psyche and reacts accordingly, which I firmly agree with, and might indicate the predictive nature of the dream as well. Ace, all this Cappie stuff is daunting for a heavily Cap person, Saturn, Pluto etc due to conjunct Sun and a bunch of other stuff at the same time in a couple of years and perhaps that will be my time for moving on (pluto), although not necessarily, it is not something that troubles me, but you know we like to have everything bookmarked and planned out. Now where's that useless crystal ball haha. Dreams are amazing tools aren't they guys which seem to use so much energy from different sources, within and without, and, although I do complain about their constant presence in my life, I also love their amazing potential for moving us on in life. Many thanks again to you both
