Sometimes in business and industry you would like to copy something from a competitor but that is not legal. You can take their product, have it analyzed and written up as a report, give that report to a completely different group and legally make some product that does the same thing. That is called reverse engineering. Cyrix and AMD used that to break the monopoly Intel had with CPU's.
My dreams are so odd but I can get help analyzing them and now even real life experiences are being interpreted. I am learning facts and details lose so much over the eons but emotions tend to be forever. Assuming you can understand them. The emotions. That apparently is the key.
It also follows strange unexpected events might not be so frightening since all that is is some outbreak of emotion in response to something. You think it never happened to you before but you might be wrong. If only you could remember.
For every compulsion they are a myriad inappropriate emotions that precede them. We all get those and learn to out grow them. We are not babies anymore. We think like adults and understand things. I just know now those very flights of love and fear, confidence and insecurity, in our dreams were born of something very real in our lives in the past. So dream symbols may be just that or they may be very real.
It is just the way we remember them.
And no I do not live with talking dogs. I do not expect them to talk. But it is not an allegory. It actually did happen. I just forget the details and when it happens again I won't be able to recognize it. But I am preparing my emotions. So I won't go into shock or think I am crazy.
