Yesterday I drove to take my mother to the hospital for her monthly cancer curing. There were so many patients there. I got my queue ticket from the window A and went to wait at the window C for paying. However, after waiting for an hour, I had to go to see my mother for a while, and when I came back it already passed my queue. So I went back to ask at the window A if they could issue another new queue for me. The guy at the window A was so mad at me and asked angrily why on earth I didn't go to ask at the window C. So I went back to window C again and explain what's what. Lucky that it was ok. I mean it happened like this a lot as there were so many patients. So, even it already passed my queue I still could use my old queue ticket with no need to issue the new one. And I asked myself why I didn't go to the window C at first. My answer was I accepted that it was my fault and I didn't want to be selfish. But why it turned out to be bad when I was trying to do the good/right thing? Sometimes I don't know if there's something wrong with me or there's something wrong with the world. hahaha

HI Monty.sorry about your troubles...
but as they say at times:
Bad Things Happen to Good People and also Good things Happen to Bad People
karma does it thing behind the scene -- that we as personalities can't always phantom causes at times.. usually it does show up astrologically.... that one is under a certain energy cycle when the teouble manifests..etc,
Of Course the work for ourselves -- is to see how attached to our ego we are when these unpleasant difficulties happen.

Thanks Ace for your kind words. It really helps. I was thinking about Mother Teresa's "Do It Anyway" and would like to change some words: "If you are doing the right thing, people may think you are crazy, and accuse you of unexplainable motives. Do it anyway". hahaha Really, it seemed respecting the right thing (in my case, a queue) is something that most people don't do any more? So if I want to look normal, to blend in, I have to forget about doing the right thing, a queue, as "normal" people do? But that would be so weird, would it not? I believe everyone who is walking on spiritual path will get this kind of situation form time to time (if not all the time). We want to do the right thing, to make the world a little bit better, but people (in the world) always don't understand what we are doing. Sometimes we even have to hide what we are doing as if we are doing the bad things. hahaha The Buddha himself once said, "I don't have any conflict with the world, but the world has with me". Hmm...if even the Buddha said that, so it's normal if it happens to me, right? Because I'm only his discipline. :-)

In my post office we have a self service line and a desk service line. For the self service you queue with no ticket number but for the desk service you take a ticket number at the door. I usually take a ticket and I wait queue in the self service line so if one goes faster than the other, well then I will get seen to faster. Anyway, the self service line was going at a steady flow and so was the desk service line, and as I reached my place in the self service line, my ticket number for the desk service was next. So I gave my ticket to the man behind me and said, take this ticket and go next at the desk line to save you waiting...so he did, and went off to the desk queue...and the person in front of him at the desk had about 20 parcels to post!! OMG! I bet the man was cursing me! Because if he hadn't have took my ticket he would have been after me in the self service queue, but he left it on my apparent good deed, and I ended up making his wait longer! Oooooooooops! I didn't look back when I left lol!

Hi Milkyway,
First, welcome to our forum. Secondly, I like your name. :-)
Hmm...your post reminds me of this story:
Everybody on earth dies and goes to heaven. God comes and says "I want the men to make two lines. One line for the men that dominated their women on earth and the other line for the men that were whipped by their women. Also, I want all the women to go with St Peter." Said and done, the next time God looks the women are gone and there are two lines. The line of the men that were whipped was 100 miles long, on the line of men that dominated women there was only one man. God got mad and said. "You men should be ashamed of yourselves. I created you in my image, and you were all whipped by your mates. Look at the only one of my sons that stood up and made me proud, Learn from him!" Tell them my son how did you manage to be the only one on that line? The man said, "I don't know. My wife told me to stand here."
In your case, why on earth the man behind you accepted your ticket (intentionally cheating his queue)? lol

Haha good story! Or the man at the post office was just completely whipped, in which case I should have asked him to post my parcels for me in the beginning and left early, he might have done it lol.

You never know the real impact of that event unless something really good comes to happen in your life, and you can say if that were not to come to pass, i might never come to this happy, good present moment of events, so dont be to quick to judge...
let go of such judgements and forget labeling things good and bad; not your duty, the higher power does that, karma has its way, you reap what you sow; good or bad, still no right to judge it that way for yourself
