Sometimes, I feel that it’s time to return home. It’s been such a long time that I have lost my way, and I think should get back now. When I realize that this is a land of strangers, not my true home and I have just arrived in an alien destination, I feel the need to find my way back, to my true home. Unfortunately, I am not able to get back so easily because I am attracted and attached to this new home. I have forgotten, truly forgotten the home of my Father. But when the thought about my true home comes to me, I feel homesick, and I wish to get back home.
Isn’t it true that we come and go from this Earth, knowing very well that this Earth doesn’t belong to us? But we get so attached to everything – people, possessions, property, power, our own ego, its name and its fame; everything it offers! We start thinking that this alien land, this strange land is our land, when in reality we know that we are not here forever. We have just arrived to spend limited time here and then we will go back. “Wake up!” Yes, I tell myself to wake up, it’s time to realize the truth.
