No Surprises by Lucy O'Byrne
Somehow this girl's voice really soothe me. She almost got to be the winner of the voice UK (2015).
A heart that's full up like a landfill A job that slowly kills you Bruises that won't heal You look so tired-unhappy Bring down the government They don't, they don't speak for us I'll take a quiet life A handshake of carbon monoxide
With no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises Silent, silent
This is my final fit My final bellyache
With no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises please

Such a beautiful voice she has, Monty! And words of such pain...does it surprise anyone that a beautiful voice might convey both words of joy, or words of pain? That out of Any mouth can proceed blessings or curses. That out of Any life there can be found beauty, or agony.
It just got me thinking. It's where we are Looking at the moment, rather than what Is. Because what Is, still includes Everything. Both joy and sorrow; both pleasure and pain.
One day we will grow to the point that we are able to look at More than only the one, or the other, at a time. While we are waiting for that, we are given the ability to Remember the other, so to keep perspective.
Love
Mary Anne

Yes, agree. Though it is taught in Buddhism about worldly conditions; worldly vicissitudes:
gain vs loss
fame (rank, dignity) vs obscurity
blame vs praise
happiness (pleasure) vs pain
But yes, sometimes it's about where to look. As long as we are still walking, we have to look only toward about goal, right? And sometimes it works. Though it's true that there are happiness and unhappiness, but sometimes, if we look only on the bright side, it could help us survive our days. hahaha
P.S. Thanks for your kind word, Mary Anne. You are very closed friend to me. And it means a lot to me.

I've just watched this (Kung Fu) movie again and would like to share its song lyrics here.
Lyrics of the song Xiao Zhao sang in Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber, (episode 16):
Relax that worried look. Stop the struggle, and let go of the anger. Today’s countenance is older than yesterday’s. Through the ages, it has always been and it will always be. A day lived, is a day earned. The sun will set, and the full moon will not stay full. The earth is in the southeast, and the sky is in the northwest. There is no perfection in the universe.
