Have you noticed that many times dreams are fuzzy or hard to remember except in fragments? This is Natural when the dreams represent random, passing signals; also when our consciousness is not as strongly connected to our subconscious state. Some of the dreams we have that provide symbolic messages to our waking concerns (mentioned in part 1) will be easier to remember, just as naturally and for several reasons, including how close we are to waking Up after the dream.
Certain dreams Will stand out more clearly, however. Precognitive dreams show us ‘snapshots’ of future events and can be experienced in Great detail, depending on how Connected we are with the future experience, whether personally or simply by our cosmic Connection with that particular event. CyberAngel has talked of precognitive dreams of relatives passing, or of events that have not yet Happened, you know? I do not have so many but when I do they are indeed clear; for example, one that showed a country that was not yet free, becoming so - the dream was Quite specific of the country and the details. That is an example of vivid, precognitive dreaming.
Dreams of past lives will also seem to ‘play out’ in much greater detail for us to remember, apparently because we are Already connected to the experience that we are witnessing or participating in, in the dream.
Like Remembering, rather than dreaming.
Do you struggle to try to remember the details of a particularly intense or vivid dream when you wake up? In an earlier thread in the dream group, samy03 mentioned trying to actively ‘relive’ the dream by quieting our minds and focusing on the Types of details that were present: were there stairs? Buildings or other edifices? People, faces and even names? Even colors, sounds and smells that occur in dreams can be ‘accessed’ to provide greater Memory of what we were dreaming about.
Our minds are Amazing in the way we seem to Filter what subconscious experiences (dreams) are Important, and what are Not. We have the opportunity to Recognize, by the clarity and detail of our remembered experience, what may be Important for us to consider.
And yes, much of it Does have to do with ‘levels of consciousness’ which we access during our dream-state. Many who are now ‘waking up’ are discovering what is called Lucid Dreaming, in which we are Aware of the dream-state itself due to our new awareness of the Connection between the conscious and subconscious mind; the idea of ‘lucid dreaming’ simply means we may join the two states and be able to Choose how the dream plays out, what action takes place while we sleep. (For example, perhaps in a lucid dream you choose to stop running from something, turn around and Face whatever is chasing you)
Precognitive and past-life dreams show more of a ‘reality’ that we understand and do not have as much symbolism as the default dreams, though our minds are Made in terms of symbols and will Provide one to ease our understanding of something confusing or difficult, in any situation.
Note: Lucid dreaming, or the idea of controlling or changing an outcome, is not likely to occur during precognitive dreams or those dreams of past lives, simply because we are experiencing an event that has a manifested form at some point (a difference between the ‘default’ symbols that are more like having symbolic Conversations with our subconscious)
One more ‘vivid’ dream-state seems to be increasing among people who are now waking up; it is the experience of an ‘alternate timeline’. What I mean by that, is that many of us seem to be experiencing Ourselves playing out scenarios that are in our Current time frame, relatively, and Being ‘ourselves’, but in a reality that is slightly different from our own waking lifetime. (Maybe in the dream your local laundromat is a shopping center. Or you have a different job or home. Or perhaps there is a different president, king or head of your country. That type of thing)
To many of us this 'alternate timeline' experience feels ‘new’, though some have shared that this takes place Anyway in dreams and we were not Aware enough to remember. I would Not claim to know; I simply recognize that it is Happening. These dreams are quite clear, moving progressively as in a past-life experience with names, dates, locations and so forth but are Obviously not of a past-life because they are not of the Past. It would seem that the thinning of veils is just bringing a greater connection with concurrent experiences within the mind of the Absolute? (that's another topic besides dreaming)
There will be a Part 3. ...but Part 3 (astral traveling and dream-visitations) needs to wait a bit longer.
