Hi all, this will be my last post for a while, it's just that my sleep pattern is all messed up, and I'am left wide awake till three or four in the morning, so will take a back seat for a while, after this, I promise.
The last post I put up got me thinking, if we are co-creators, and what we think, produces what becomes our reality, and we are all aware of that, how come it does not work for the majority.
People come into this life with certain things to learn/experience, and are placed in certain life situations, the result of accumulated karma, destiny, whatever.
Fact remains, if universal law exists, and we are co-creators, we can change our reality, by our thoughts, we create the dream and the body walks into it.
It seems to be accepted wholeheartedly, that this principle works in the negative, negative thinking attracts negative experiences, same with disease, years of built up resentment are the cause of the illness, we seem to accept this without question, and even practise it regularly, we even get the proof.
Why do we not accept it for the positive, if we would like to change our life situation, why don't we?
If it works for the negative, it must work for the positive, it either works or it does not.
There are universal laws or there are not.
Some might think, that's a very simplistic way of looking at things, it's a lot more complicated than that.
If there is one thing I have learned in life, it's that life is simple, people make it complicated.
We have laws on earth, gravity, works on everything, not just some.
So why can't we all improve our situations by the power of thought, followed through with action.
1. We either do not believe in it enough, have deep issues of we're not worthy, but yet still constantly prove it with the negative.
2. There is no universal law, it does not happen, because it does not exist, then I'am afraid, everything collapses.
We are led to believe by all the great prophets, that everything they have done, we can do also, Jesus even said we would be capable of doing more, if we can do all these things, if we are that potentially powerful, why hasn't someone done it.
I think the buddha said we can achieve enlightenment in this life time, I don't recall Jesus ever saying, it will take many lifetimes, he often spoke of prophets coming back to help mankind, E. Tolle, seems to think it is perfectly feasible to obtain it in this life, if we learn to master living in the now.
I find it very hard to accept,
that there are universal laws in place, but the only evidence of there workings, seems to be in the negative.
Or am I wrong, I would like to hope I'am.
Are there people out there who have transformed their lives through the power of thought, followed through with action.
Why is it not more the norm?
It either works or it does not.
Robert.
