If it is widely believed that GOD encompasses all, that everything is light, that there is no evil, evil arises from a lack of light, been in the shade or dark. Then what causes us to want to be in the dark? What powers the desire to be away from the light? What causes humans, to create horrible attrocities? If it is simply ignorance or fear, why do people in the know, constantly fall out of the light?
What's the attraction? Is instant gratification too much to resist, for the big eternal prize at the end of the rainbow?
Christianity tells us the fallen angel was thrown out of heaven and sent to walk the earth and torment mankind till the end of time. Sounds an awful lot like the ego mind, constantly trying to pull us out of the light, is the ego mind, satan at work. Is he an integral part of us, if he can constantly try to manipulate the mind, how much power does he have. Can he confuse us and lead us astray with spiritual power, can he pull us off track, and inflate our spiritual ego. Do we have to work through lower levels in order to reach the power of light? Is conflict not confined to earth, but active on the lower realms as well?
The greatest trick ever played was to convince mankind, that the opponent doesn't exist.
So the burning question , is there a force of evil?

I don't think that trick worked MojoMojo, as there are many people in this world banging on about the Devil as much as God. There are priests and clergymen across the world who spend more time talking about the Devil than God. They seem to think they can scare people into repenting, it must work as many listen to what is being said. Not me though I just think it is claptrap, in the old world people gained order with force, just several decades ago, you would be beaten if you did not do as your father asked. This is a new world we are living in now, one where love and compassion comes first. I do not believe in the devil. I believe that people are misguided for many reasons, usually selfishness. I have written an article on this if you want to read more. The Devil - Figment Of Your Imagination

If one of the advantages of the monotheistic movement was the elimination of the other gods - including the devil - that also coincided in the "New Age Movement" with the admonition to beware of so-called spiritual vampires. It was even brought out at my last group meeting why anyone and everyone could not channel themselves. The answer was a beginner could accidently attract the scum of the universe. Not good !
The nearest I can tell is there are entities that are NOT complete but they are willing to feed off of you if you let them. That will never be of any benefit to you assuming you are trying to advance. I have little idea what that means or how to recognize it but it does belie the notion anything super natural is always good - or bad.
I have reason to believe we are protected in ways we do not realize. And that it is appropriate to ask questions if we are not sure if it is good or evil. There ARE very wrong paths and choices to make.

As human beings we are multi faceted and just as we have the capacity for selfless and loving acts, so to are we capable of great evil and inhumanity. We only have to turn on the news or pick up a paper to see that. I do not see good and evil as being synonomous with God or the Devil. Simply part of the spectrum of human nature.
Spiritually, I believe that when we harm other's be it with our words or actions. Our natures are acting from the lowest spiritual vibration. When we are loving, kind and act with the highest of intentions, we are closer to our true Godly spiritual natures. Spiritually we are evolving.
It makes me terribly sad to see such horrific acts of violence perpetuated in the name of religion. Misguided souls believing that any act of hatred or murder done in the name of God is justified. Jesus said, 'In my father's house, there are many mansions'. The interpretation of this is generally accepted as meaning that, 'all beliefs' where love and service to other's are at it's core, housed in the minds and souls of his children, lead to him.
Evil acts are committed by evil men. Symbolically you could say that there is evil in their hearts, or the devil is in them. Ultimately, we are, I believe, responsible for our own actions. And to try to distance ourselves from the thought that we are capable of such terrible deeds, it is easier for man to believe that they are being influenced by some supernatural force, that is outside of them. Such denial, will never lead to spiritual growth.

Good and Evil to me are a product of our consciousness. We are in duality consciousness, we ate from the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, so we have to be able to see certain things as a result of that choice. The world of opposites is illusion to me, and at the sub-conscious level we are all driven to create our own true inner reflection in the outside world, sometimes as individuals and sometimes as a collective. The old writings have Lucifer being the Creators most loved and trusted angel. The bearer of light, the most beautiful of all. One thing that I learned early on is that things where spirit work is concerned are never as they seem. Take the Judas story as an example, the man was doing what Jesus told him to do, so that a destiny could be completed. Did anyone ever stop to think that Lucifer may just be following orders as Gods most trusted? If we are in duality consciousness and learning about the world of Good and Evil, then someone has to play the evil part for us so that we can learn for ourselves through experience what works and what does not work. I sometimes wonder just what part of unconditional is it that we do not understand when people talk about God's unconditional love?

Now, that's one angle, I never looked at before. Makes perfect sense, though.

In my understanding, and what I read, in my belief they say to stay away from bad karma, and what causes it is the 5 passions of the mind, Anger, Lust Greed, Vanity, and attachment to materail things. Then It said that the negitive force was created for the lower worlds, and placed st the top of the negitive worlds, meaning the materal worlds , Its a being but it gives out negitive energy to tempt us in a way and also temper souls, make them stronger, by finding out what's right and wrong, and this Kal is the ruler over matter space and time. So Its true when one's vibrations are low, one's receiving the neg energy, and higher vibes positive energy. This Kal was given the power to keep our bodys running through the positive through the negitive power, cause matter is negitive. So we have a negitive body with a Soul, a positive power , the God power . In the Golden Age the positive power was stronger, now in the Iron age whivh were in the two powers are the same
