I am offering free Kundalini Reiki attunements for all levels (1, 2 & 3) for those who are interested to receive these energies.  I will provide you with all the necessary manuals and a certificate upon completion of the level 3 Kundalini Reiki Master level.

I would normally delete this sort of post, but I will leave it there. A true Reiki Master would never offer to attune people online, maybe you also got your attunement online. If you did, your certificates are worthless. Only when you see the lineage of a Reiki Master will you see their true identity. The closer you are to Hawayo Takata and the students she taught the better. Those offering attunements online will not have a good lineage, they will not be taught properly. This cannot be done online it must be done in person by a reputable Reiki Master. Would you trust a doctor that got his certificates online? No you would not. There are too many people who have supposedly become a master, then a few weeks later they are offering to teach others. It makes the whole thing a joke. Forget about attuning people, first seek proper training, then work at healing people instead of professing to be able to magically turn someone into something they are not.

I can kindly report back that I have not received my training online - I am a fully qualified Usui Reiki Master (Usui Shiki Ryoho), Karuna Reiki master (Certified in person at the Interenational Centre of Reiki Training) and Lama Fera Master (Received in person by the founder of this system) - all of these I have received my training 'in person' and have meditated with these energies during a 3 year meditation retreat in Nepal and India where I cured myself of an incurable muscle disease through meditation! All of these systems, I teach only in person to whomever feels drawn to these beautiful healing energies.

Kundalini Reiki, on the other hand, has been brought through the lineage of Mr Ole Gabrielson (Denmark) and is an energy based healing system which is quite separate from the energies and teachings of Usui Reiki and the lineage of Hawaya Takata that you are referring to here in your post. Kundalini Reiki is able to be taught by distance and it is for this reason why I have lovingly decided to offer these energies to people if they feel that they might be for them.

Please do not think that Usui Reiki and Dr Mikao Usui are the only sources or modes of energy based healing available - this is very naive. You can now find many types of Reiki 'out there' and many of these are entirely reputable and very powerful and these can indeed be taught by distance. If you wish to remove my post then I understand, obviously my offering here is not welcomed by the moderators which i actually find quite sad.

I can say exactly what I want my friend, you come on our forum, offering the world attunements, when no one knows anything about you. You do not see me doing that and I have been a Reiki Master for 13 years, no true Reiki Master would offer attunements online. I find it shocking that people like you have made Reiki a joke. It seems any old fool can add a word to Reiki and it suddenly becomes official. This might work in your world, but there are many people disgusted with the practices that have been taken up the last few years. I have also been a spiritualist healer, do you see anyone offering to do that online, no you don't as people would be prosecuted in England for pertaining to be something they are not. There may be no rules in your country and you think that gives you the right to do whatever you like. That is sad because it creates a lot of charlatans preying on weak minded people.

You may call my response sad, I call it being sensible, if more were as sensible as this group you would not see thousands daily being taken advantage of. You really have not looked into this deep enough to see the problem you are attempting to perpetuate.

I’ve never joined any debate thread as I come from a tradition that doesn’t believe in any kind of debate. If I don't agree with someone, I am just silent myself. That's all. I think that in any debating, it’s still a kind of ego that always wants to be a winner. I don’t mind to be a loser. I’m a wreck/wretch! (I mean it, not just my political speaking, and most of my friends here know that's true, about my life story that sucks!).
I know that no matter what I say, it would inevitably make one (or both) of you misunderstand me (that I take sides of one of you). But I love this forum and feel that I have some responsibility to do something, even risking stick my nose here.

Anyway, let me speak only about my case and my feelings.

The first time I read your post, lovingvibrations, I was not impressed. I didn’t know what you were trying to do next.
And the first time I read Leon's reply, I was not impressed either.
See? I am fair to both of you and I don’t pretend. I don’t like pretending. It’s against our spirituality, is it not?

Jesus even used to come to our chat room. I mean someone who claimed to be Jesus. And some different Gods, Gurus etc. visited the chat room from time to time. That was the very hard time for anyone to bear with the deadly air there. Once, an enlightened Buddha also came and had non-stop preaching there. Until someone had to say (to stop him), “I don’t like a Buddhist.” Darn! Though he was so right in that very context, about this mad guy, but he forgot that I was also came from Buddhist tradition, too. (most friends knew).
But I’m still here. Why?
Maybe tt’s about what Mary Ann just said somewhere on another thread: to offer my service and my love to anyone who might be in need. I feel happy all day even after I post some funny video/song that might make someone here smile. 
I’m a professional editor (edited more than 300 books), writer (more than 2 books) translator (more than dozens of books) for more than 30 years. I’ve been here for more than one year. With time and effort I have spent here, I could make money for more than thousand pounds. Why have I spent a lot of my time here, then? I just believe that the true Dhamma/Dharma and spiritual service should be for free.

I honestly hope that you will still be around here, lovingvibrations. You second post was impressed me. Please give your love to anyone who might be in need here, for free, by posting your posts. Isn’t that the reason why all of us come here in the first place?

P.S. I recalled that there were at least 2-3 professional writers came here. They posted the links to their books on Amazon etc. But after the moderators had no choice but deleted those links and explained that it was against common rules here, all of those writers were gone. And none of them came back. I really don’t know which one is better: delete the link/post that is against the rule or explain/debate as Leon did. Frankly speak, what he did is better somehow, right? At least you still had a chance to explain something later.

Giving a link to where he could attune people or giving his email is against our rules. So even if we were in agreeance it would not happen anyway. lovingvibrations has looked at no other post on the forum but this one, you will probably find the same message on many forums. He has no interest in talking to us about spirituality, all he cares about is himself. He took my words as an attack, when basically I was just stating that we do not do that here. We could do online attunements, Kaz is a Reiki Master so am I, none of us agree with doing it online. It is something you must do in person. I could put an advert up for Reiki attunements and make money from it. I don't because I believe in helping people here for free. You can't do everything online, you have to do some things in person. Do remember we get dozens of people like this every week trying to put some sort of offer on our site. They leave a message and a link never to return. If you copied and pasted that same link in google you would find the same post on dozens of sites. We delete these posts as that is not what this group is about. This is why I normally delete anything like this, but hopefully it will highlight to some people how serious we take things.

If you want me to stop deleting these sort of posts I will, but, you will start having meaningless conversations with spammers who never return to read your comment.

Within the reiki tradition in recent years there has been a massive upsurge in people being attuned to Reiki through distance instruction and attunement. Resulting in 'reiki masters' being almost mass produced. It is a tradition that has been turned into a 'money cow', because quite sizable amounts of money can be charged for the reiki healing itself and to attune others to reiki.

In the very beginning as I understand it, the instruction and attunement to reiki was given by Dr Usui for free. But he found that those who were passing on the tradition, either abandoned it or did not appreciate it and were not discerning about who they passed it on too. So he decided to charge for it, because he felt that human nature being what it was, people only 'truly value' what they pay for, or have made some personal sacrifice to gain. There are certain rules within the tradition about the time that should be given to training in this modality. Personal instruction by a reiki master who had put in the time and had the experience to 'pass on' the teachings. To share with the learner reiki healings their expertize and guidance. Not only so that whoever that person should go on to heal would benefit from this too. But for the trainee healer themselves.

Reiki attunements can affect people differently. Indeed, in some they can bring on what is called a 'healing crisis'. Where the attunements bring to the surface any illness or deep issue that the trainee has to enable them to cleanse themselves and become better channals to conduct the reiki energy. This can make some quite unwell. Not just physically but emotionally. A reiki master needs to watch over and care for their trainees. To advise them and help them should this occur. The role of Reiki master is extremely important. The importance of personal contact for instruction and guidance between the master and trainee cannot be overstated. This is why the upsurge in offering free reiki instruction and giving out the reiki manuals to 'anyone' who asks for them online has been such a problem and has brought the reiki tradition into such disrepute.

I am not saying that everyone who has been attuned online is not of good character and wishes to learn about reiki for the best of intentions. Simply that they cannot be given the right kind of instruction this way. And if the person sending out the 'attuning' through distance energy healing has been taught themselves online. There is no way for the person to know for sure, if the attunement has been successful or not. What if the reiki master had not been attuned properly. Not given the right symbols. When I did my Reiki 1, I travelled 120 miles from where I lived to receive instruction and attunement in person. I saved up the money to pay for this. The reiki master who taught me had 30 years experience behind her. She was a very spiritual person. She told us all at the beginning of the weekend, 12 hours of instruction devoted to teaching and instruction. That if she felt that any one of us had not been attuned properly or that we could not understand the ethos behind reiki and could not channel the energy, she would not confirm us as Reiki level 1 healers and give us our certificates. We paid our money and took our chances.

My reiki attunements were such a joyful occassion. I spent 12 hours over 2 days being instructed in the sequence of hand positions. We were taught self healing meditations and opening up to energy meditations. We practiced on each other and gave feedback. We had to learn to pronounce, write and draw the symbols in the air 'correctly'. These symbols are very powerful. Reiki two was more indepth, but still 12 hours of personal instruction. More symbols to learn and use properly. Practicing distance healing. More meditations and the opportunity to ask our reiki master any questions about anything pertaining to reiki. She shared with us her years of experience. The attunement was done in a beautiful room with a golden buddha and other spiritual symbols. I cried when I received my reiki 1 attunement. It touched my heart so deeply. I felt connected to something greater than myself and felt from that day forward, I belonged to a group of likeminded people with whom I shared a vision. It was so meaningful, physically, emotionally and most of all spiritually. How can that be reproduced online?

I was impressed from the first by her honesty and integrity. I went to her a year later to do my reiki 2, a month after my mother passed away. I was in two minds whether to do it, as I was worried that I was not in the right place mentally. She said come and we will help you. I did go and another of my reiki buddies from reiki 1 was there. She too had lost someone dear to here, a lifelong friend recently. We both received our reiki 2 certificates and also received healing and support that helped us both with our grief. This kind of atmosphere of love, support and guidance cannot be gained through online instruction. There is no way online of seeing the true character of the trainee reiki healer. Their motivation and their ability. Online 'anyone' can be given certification with no proper instruction, and then they will go on pertaining to be something they are not and with access to vulnerable people looking for help and healing. Can you see the potential problems that this brings? I waited 8 years before being given my Master attunement. Because I was happy being a healer and didn't feel I'd attained the experience to teach others until then. I wanted to be the best teacher I could be, to carry on the reiki tradition.

Online, people are being given Reiki 1 and 2 without any time in between for self healing and for their bodies/energy to adjust to the reiki attunements. Some are also given their Masters certificate shortly after. Or together with reiki 1 and 2. No true Reiki master would ever do this. But it's happening. Because their is no genuine love for and understanding of reiki, and shows a lack of integrity. It's becoming a terrible problem. Can you see why Leon was so against it. It really can do harm to the recipient and extremely irresponsible. And to be honest I was more shocked by the fact Loving Vibrations had been instructed and trained traditionally. That he would offer 1, 2 and 3 to anyone who wanted it for free online.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am passionate about healing and Reiki. I would give and have given freely to anyone in need. But, I do believe that such practice as reiki brings with it responsibility. And those who give out manuals and attunements without practicing responsibility are doing harm to the tradition and it's affectiveness. We are sending out into the world healers who are woefully unprepared. And in some cases can do more harm than good. This is purely my belief and I respect the opinion of others. I just felt it important to share my thoughts and to help other's see why we are so against this type of thing here. Monty, the reason why writers who share links that are removed do not come back to us, is because their sole purpose here was to promote themselves for financial gain, with no real intention of becoming part of this group and fellowship. If they did, having a link deleted would certainly not have stopped them posting again.

Thanks for summing things up Kaz, remember this person was not just offering level 1 and 2, he was offering people level 3, Mastership. That would mean anyone he gave the certificate to, could go around the internet offering the same level 3 to other people, creating hundreds and thousands of untrained Reiki Masters. Just imagine you went to see your Doctor and you looked at his certificates on the wall and they all said they were from some unknown website or place. You would be horrified. When seeking help one should always be discerning, the world of Reiki is no different to any other therapeutic practice. You must learn in person by a responsible Master who does not hand out certificates willy nilly.
