Hmm…because of my cultural and spiritual background, I feel a bit uncomfortable to say, "God is real” as it is like I’m not honest enough. Let me change it a little bit to be “Tao/ dhamma” is real. I will not bother you with theirs meanings here but it suffices to say from your cultural/spiritual background that “God/angel is real.” This will make our mutual understandings. My life sucks (I divorced twice, one cheated on me; lost my houses and everything twice; all friends and everyone walked away from me after I become very poor.) No, don’t get me wrong. I’m not making a drama here. I have already felt clam with this for many years now. I just try to share something that I learned from my painful experiences, from the worldly part. [As for another part, a spiritual one, it’s so far so good and that’s another story.] Though I always planned everything in advance, sometimes almost being Obsessive Compulsive but that was just because I knew very well about the serious failures (been there, done that a lot.) For example, if I didn’t check for the second or third time whether I brought my key room with me or not before I went out, there would be a chance that I had to call a locksmith (and he charged a lot of money. ). Anyway, no matter how I planned everything in minute details discreetly, it always did not go as the plan. There was so many terrible unexpected situations awaiting for me in the next corner. Always. Then everything went down the hill, like I was in hell. But in the very moment of my desperation, after I already tried every possible way to fix the situation and nothing happened, then and only then, when I was going to give up and accepted any worst situation that about to happen, the miracle came! It came so quietly. And the strange thing was, I was not so much surprised as I used to be. I mean even the miracle didn’t come, I honestly still felt indifferent. (But yes, it was a lot better that it came. ). What I’m trying to tell is a miracle/God is real. You have to believe in this. Nay, whether you believe in this or not, it’s still real. I don’t know how to put it into the words. Having faith? Maybe. You just have to have faith and be patient to wait and see it with your well prepared mind, something like that. Cheers!

Hi there, this is my first posting and I am so excited to do so. Donq, you really wrote so deep, I am sad on your loses.
Many people believe in god just because others do, this is very wrong thinking. Many people believe in God and worship the idol which they have not seen, many people believe in gurus like you mentioned "Tao/Dhamma". I don't say anybody is wrong if you get positivity from thinking god doesn't exist, think that.. But in the end you need positivity from the gurus and from those idols. God is real, you just need to believe.

Hi hemantm, Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to post, no need to be excited. We have many good friends here. Thanks for your condolence. But I have been really ok for so many years now. That was why I could share it without any disturbing wave in my mind. P.S. I might not be able to come here everyday. But I’ll try my best.

I do a lot of spirit work with people and have had many experiences over the years. I tell people that you can get to the point where you can put faith and belief in the garbage where it belongs. If you do enough person work and develop conscious contact you can then have the knowing. Something in you just turns on and you KNOW. The God of my understanding, Angels, and spirit guides are all very real to me at this point in my life. If people are willing to do their part, which is the personal work, then the spirit world will respond, but we have to do our part first. In our culture we like to get things on credit and pay for them later, but spirit does not except Visa, Master Card, or American Express. Do the work, then get the prize.

The one thing that we are hear to do is the one thing that moves our heart. Finding our vision and purpose for life is the one thing that will make us the happiest that we could ever be. I can not make a living doing what I came here to do and that is OK for me. Making money for me is just the way that helps me fulfill my vision and purpose for this life. In the culture that I follow and walk we have a ceremony called the vision quest. This ceremony for us takes a year of preparation. We go on the hill for 2 to 4 days with no food, water, or sleep if possible. Some people's visions come during the dreamtime. The spirit world will help you, but you have to be willing to do your part. For most people I would say just do your personal work and your vision and purpose will find you. Changing how you think, working on your hatreds, resentments, and fears. Making amends to those that you have hurt. Correcting the wrongs that you have done in life. This is the personal work and it can take years.

It is suggested the whole of creation is getting better, not just ( for us ) the dominant species here i.e. human beings. If that is so then I would expect everything to also look and feel better.
That runs counter to the laws of chemistry and physics. But even scientists are perplexed about ENTROPY. We know all things being the same gas dissipates, rock crumbles, static electricity bleeds off. It has apparently been doing that since creation and therefore the universe should have randomized itself out of existance by now. It has not because we are still here. How can that be?
You will not find an answer to that in the college text books.
Beauty occurs in many forms. With me it was a desire to manufacture metal objects of great precision and accuracy. On the other side of the spectrum it might be coaching athletes to be "all they can be". But the attitude is all the same here: some of us seek a quality over and beyond what is required of us. We may or may not get paid for it or it may of may not be appreciated. We do it all the same. Just to try for some little bit so surround ourselves with beauty and harmony.
Because that is what we seek.

Lets try a simple allegory ( I am good at that ). You are carrying a bag of groceries to home and the bag breaks. What happens?
A: some one comes and helps you put them back in your bag so you can go take them home and have a feast. ( oink ) .
B: some one runs and grabs them off the sidewalk so they can resell them for booze. ( hic ) .
C: some one seems to notice free abandoned groceries and they dont even have a place to live but they grab what they can and later you notice them fixing a nice gourmet dinner in some alley for themselves and the other "homeless". ( cheers ) .
D: you get mad and discouraged and kick the canned food all over the place untill it falls in the street and gets wasted when the trucks run over it. ( squish ) .
These are all beautifulll endings. It just depends on your sense of beauty!

I’ve just came across this one (unknown source, proverb?) while I was working and want to share it here.
Above God there's no Lord, above salt there's no savor, Above black there is no color.
Above God there's no Lord, nor above black any color. Salt no savor, God no greater, black no color, can have better.
Coal-black is better than another hue in that it scorns to bear another hue. Black will take no other hue.
The best smell is bread, the best savor salt, the best love that of children. Of all smells bread, of all tastes salt.

I'd like to ad this quote from the Secret Doctrine:
An Omnipresent, Eternal, Boundless, and Immutable PRINCIPLE on which all speculation is impossible, since it transcends the power of human conception and could only be dwarfed by any human expression or similitude. It is beyond the range and reach of thought — it is: "unthinkable and unspeakable."
There is one absolute Reality which antecedes all manifested, conditioned, being. This Infinite and Eternal Cause —it is the unknowable rootless root of "all that was, is, or ever shall be." It is of course devoid of all attributes and is essentially without any relation to manifested, finite Being. It is "Be-ness" rather than Being and is beyond all thought or speculation.

As I hear you, donq, the miracle is that you find yourself calm and okay no matter what happens.
I call it 'evenness' and, yes, it comes from grace not my effort.
