It is interesting just how often people end up in situations that they would never have asked for or wanted to be in. Which does ask the question, how much of our life is pre determined and mapped out for us; And how much of it is free will? Have you ever found yourself in this predicament, and if the answer is yes, ultimately when you reflected on it from a position of hindsight. Did you see the sense of it, or come to a conclusion about why it happened? I'm adding another question to this, for those who have not yet got the benefit of hindsight on a situation Have any of you ever found yourself in a situation you never asked for or wanted. Better yet, even went all out to avoid, and still found yourself there? Afterwards, did you feel you learn't anything from it, or did you feel it just put you through unneccessary pain and discomfort?

At one level it happened because I let it happen. At another level it came about because I asked for what I wanted but did not realise the consequences. Either way it suggested a definite change was indicated as more then a little expedient. So much for nuetrality!
But as for why that is so I don't know yet. I am still just reeling over the discomfort. So THIS is how it feels? Awrk @!
And just think how it would have felt if I had NOT bailed out. Or fate had not come to my rescue ....

Hi Kaz, I know you have raised a serious question but it reminds me of this story (sorry : John Fitzgerald Kennedy was asked how he became a hero. He replied, “”It was involuntary. They sank my boat.” Seriously, I think of another quote from Stargate Atlantis (TV series): "The future is predetermined by the character of those who shape it."I really agree with that. Our characters are really the very factors that could shape our future (whether we know/want it or not.) And that why spiritual self awareness is so important, is it not?

Dear Karen, I really liked this post and I hope to one day post a decent reply but (as you know) I am currently waiting on my hindsight ...meaning I am in the process of a spiritual rollarcoaster ride and I'm in the middle of a white knukle part of the ride so...with help and support and the cheering of my friends in the backgound....I am just about holding on One this ride ends and my legs get strong again on solid ground I will let you know...but I wanted to reply to your wonderful question even though I can offer no answer but only my experiences. And how much of it is free will?
Am I where I am meant to be? If one lives in the present rather than the past or future, the answer has to be yes, every time. There is no other possibility! I'm happy and content to let that be my personal take on this subject, plus Spirit will straighten me out later if I need it! Free will is our spiritual birthright. So "all of it" would be my answer to your question. And that's taking into account whatever karmic tasks and soul meetings/connections we arrange with other souls, pre-birth. We are still freely choosing these karmic associations; they're not forced upon us. We know what we need for our soul development and we arrange many of the circumstances of each incarnation - parents, siblings and place of birth in particular. We are left free to will all this into physical being.

Hi Kaz,
I recalled that you used to say something about a sign. Not really a sign but something that warning us. For example, when we are in the wrong relationship (I mean it the broad sense, friends etc.) and there’s something tell us that is not a good friendship, how do we know for sure about that? How to distinguish it from our emotional (ego) reaction? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi Karen, In relation to the 2nd question I guess I’ll take the bait As you know from previous posts I have tried throughout my life to avoid certain spiritual awakenings or advancements due to me not feeling ready, but what I have learnt through all this is there is no escape from what is laid out for you, I know because I have tried and tried, but I am always ALWAYS drawn back to the thing I try to run away from. Why can you not escape? I honestly don’t know the answer to that. Maybe my soul pre-arranged it in my life plan before I joined the earthly plain or perhaps it’s a spiritual milestone you reach at certain times in your life or maybe I am afraid to complete my plan too soon, but they are just mere guesses. Why don’t you just embrace the changes or challenges? It’s not always that easy. Sometimes I personally feel like I am thrown into the deep end of a pool and its either sink or swim, and sometimes I swim and swim but keep going around in circles or at times I can see the edge of the pool but never quite reach it...it can be confusing, frustrating, tiring and painful at times, but you know that you have to keep going or you will sink. Spiritual growth in the most part is a wonderful joyful experience but sometimes it’s extremely difficult. Sometimes you find yourself lost in the mist of familiar surroundings, you become confused and disorientated especially when something happens or changes out of the blue, like a new gift to develop. Not all gifts are wanted, but I have come to learn that they are indeed gifts. For a long time many years ago, I thought they were curses simply because I could not see the point of it, but they are gifts that you must learn to unwrap in a certain way. I do agree with Baangus that we are exactly where we are meant to be and that is very good advice not to dwell in the past or the future, not always an easy thing to do, to stay in the present, as you will always get reminders from the past or prompts about the possible futures, so to stay in the present is a challange in itself, but hats off to those who can As much as I think I know, I realise I actually know nothing when it all comes down to it. Sure I have learned some things and developed certain ‘gifts’ but even so, I sometimes feel like a pawn in a game of chess, and I have no idea where the next move will bring me, and that in itself is a daunting feeling, but what I do know is that I will move, forwards or backwards is yet to be seen. Sometimes as much as you want to go back, you realise that you can’t, simply because there is no point to it, but what I have found throughout my spiritual life is that you can hit the pause button, and that is where I am at, I’m just on pause, not fast forwarding or rewinding just pausing, waiting to see where my next move will take me. I have to say that since the Angels have backed off I have felt very lost and its hard to rely solely upon my own guidance, and yes at times I feel very alone even though I know that they are still very much around me. Then with this other stuff going on and not being able to communicate directly with my angels, I feel like my crutch has been taken away, but I was told that this would happen and it is done for this very reason, but I wasn’t ready. I hope all this is making sense to you as I am being very open and honest here and baring my soul for all to see. I miss the communication with my angels (without sounding like a mad woman) but for the benefit of those who do not know me, I can communicate with Angels, but they explained that they had to stop to allow me to grow and develop new gifts that I would be receiving, and I have not been able to hear them since, although I know they are still around me, but now is the most time I feel I really need them and their guidance. Another thing that has been happening for the past 5-6 weeks is the repeated numbers 111 or 1111. I have looked them up but the meanings don’t really mean much to me, not at the moment anyway. As Monty perfectly put it... “I feel full” like to the brim and I feel at the moment I can’t process anymore because of it, like I am overloaded, not in life but in my spiritual side. I find it so hard to convey as I don’t really know how to explain it to myself. I feel like a load of stuff is happening from all sides of me and I feel like I am overwhelmed and like you said Karen, ultra sensitive. I will continue my self healing and see where that will lead me. I will try and get back into my meditations again but just lately I always seem to find an excuse not to meditate if I am honest, again I think its because I am just spiritually tired and yet I know what I am avoiding will help me the most...LOL Anyway, there you have it. Me, just me, nothing special, just someone trying to find their way back on the path, even though I can clearly see it, I just have to step back onto it...but what I really want to do is go back and start from when I was on familiar territory. Thanks again for reading, listening, sharing and guiding me friends. Love and Light

When I was learning spirit stuff and going threw my clearing work, I did not like where I was at. I did not like the people who were teaching me stuff. I wanted the more we'll known teachers, the ones that I thought were special. The people that I was learning with were crazy and nuts, and they would smack me up side of the head if that was what I needed. When it came to spirit stuff I needed to be jolted quite a few times. Thirty years later I look back to realize that spirit put me with the only people that could get through to me at that time of my life. I do not think that I could have learned all that I have learned any other way. What I learned about myself I use every day when I work with others.

If nothing else my "group therapy" sessions did give me an amazing insight into one major problem of my life. That being I made some major mistake in life choices and was born into a scenario that would never be satisfying to me. My fault! All the more gauling because it would seem I planned things out very carefully before I was even born and look what happened. That is a definite advantage of "hindsight" because I don't think anybody can remember what they did hundreds of years ago without some help. So now I realise - yes - a lot of it was wasted effort and served no usefull purpose.
It has taken me about my whole current lifetime just to admit there should have been some purpose to begin with ....

Dear Gruntal,
While I was arranging my famous quotes notes I came across 2 special ones and the first person I thought of was you...so I would like to share them with you my friend. Love and Light
"Each person comes into this world with a specific destiny; he has something to fulfill, some message has to be delivered, some work has to be completed. You are not here accidentally; you are here meaningfully. There is a purpose behind you. The whole intends to do something through you" ~ Osho

HI Kaz.. here is what came to mind from your question:
If we were to take an empty box and add to it – Every thought, every emotion , and every action and the energy it created on this level and other levels of consciousness in one day,,, and add to that all of those energies we created in let’s say a year, and then expand it to a whole life.. and expand it further still to karmic energies and patterns we created and brought over from former lifetimes (both positive and negative). We then would get a box which is us..
So much of what is done in our life is really done without mindful attention, but it is creating results if we are aware of it or not. I don’t think just random things happen to us,, but we are consciously or unconsciously blind to so much of what we did over time to create it.
This to me is real law of attraction in action.

Hi Alena, I recall that Kaz only took her vacation with her family once, last year. She (Leon, Ace etc.) have come here everyday for so many years. So, let give her some time. She might have been very busy. Meanwhile, let hear from her sidekick (me) for a while. I had the similar experience. I used to love the forest but at a certain point, I needed a water (sea.) So I changed my spiritual retreat to some other place near the sea (and beach.) I don’t think everyone would feel the same. I mean, there's no fixed rule about this. It concerns about the 4 elements (Earth, Air, Fire, and Water) in us that requires some balance each period of time, for further our spiritual progress. So, just follow your intuition and try to choose/be in the place that resonates with you and make you feel peaceful and calm as much as you could. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Alena, Living in the UK I rarely see a snake, unless it is in a pet shop or a zoo. But like you I am a little afraid of them. Though I have to say, to touch, they feel a lot nicer then they look. Yes, I actually touched one! I have found that when I think about snakes now, I tend to think of them in symbolic terms. And symbolically the snake is very powerful. So the information I share about them, I hope will help you to see them in a different way too. And hopefully when you dream about them, you will not find it, such a nightmarish experience, but a interesting and learning one. The snake animal meaning is powerfully connected to life force and primal energy. In many cultures, it is revered as a powerful totem representing the source of life. When the snake spirit animal appears in your life, it likely means that healing opportunities, change, important transitions, and increased energy are manifesting. The snake as a spirit animal can be to provide guidance about life changes and transitions, whether they are happening at the physical, emotional or spiritual level.
In ancient traditions as well as modern times, snakes are symbols of healing powers and opportunities. In the Greek mythology, Aesclepius, the god of medicine, is featured with two snakes climbing up a rod, the symbol of what is known today as the Caduceus. Snakes are also symbolic of the Kundalini. The Kundalini energy is the potential form of prana or life force, lying dormant in our bodies. It is conceptualised as a coiled up serpent lying at the base of our spine which can spring awake activated by spiritual disciplines. Spiritual practices like Yoga, meditation and the next evolutionary step Millennium Modality focuses on the raising of the kundalini from the root chakra to the crown chakra, awakening a transformative energy.
Kundalini has the capacity to ‘wash’ away our deepest tensions, eliminate our misunderstandings (lessons and beliefs) about our true nature, and to expand the flow of creative energy and consciousness within us. It is the seat of ABSOLUTE KNOWLEDGE.This energy is also seen as sexual energy and awakens the primordial female. When this it is released, there is a direct transmission of spiritual power which gives spiritual freedom. It is linked to the descent of GRACE (love). In this process the SHAKTIPAT is the fire that ignites the rising of the kundalini.
“Kundalini is the energy of the DIVINE as it is experienced in the individual, it binds us when we project it in to the world and yet, Kundalini liberates us when we return this energy to its divine origin.” Kundalini is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning coiled up snake. It is the energy to nourish the TREE OF LIFE within us and has been seen as ‘The serpent power.’ In Yoga, it is a term referring to the reservoir of PSYCHIC energy at the base of the spine. Kundalini is curled up in the back part of the root chakra in 3 ½ turns. It is located in the sacrum bone. The Latin name ‘os sacrum’ suggests that it is a HOLY or sacred part of the body. The ancient Greeks were aware of this and noted that it was the last bone to be destroyed when the body is burnt. Ancient Egyptians also held this bone to be very valuable and considered it to be the ‘seat of special power’. In the West, the sacrum is symbolised by the sign of Aquarius and by the Holy Grail, container of the water of life.
When the snake appears to us in our dreams, it can leave the dreamer with a negative feeling. It is important that you also consider it's positive meanings as well. The snake spirit animal often appears in dreams as a warning about personal struggles and the need to pay attention to things or events that are escaping your field of awareness. For instance, when you dream of being bitten or attacked by a snake, it could mean that you need to be careful about important matters you’ve been ignoring so far. If the spirit animal featured in your dream in the shape of a snake is chasing you, it may represent a challenging situation or relationship that you have been avoiding and is pushing you around. Dreams that frighten us, tend to stay with us long after waking. Some might say that this is why the most powerful teaching dreams come through the vehicle of our nightmares. Once this is understood. Even the most frightening of dreams can be viewed in a different way.
I hope this different way of seeing the snake or serpent has opened your eyes and given you a different perspective to view it from Alena. Love and light Kaz

Hi Karen Many thanks for posting all the information on the Kundalini. I really enjoyed reading it and to learn more about it. You go to a lot of trouble and time to write this and I know that many will really benefit from this info (myself included). Sometimes it can be scary not knowing what is happening and why it is happening, so your words bring much comfort not only to Alena I'm sure, but to many out there wondering and trying to understand. Anyway I just wanted to join with Alena to thank you for posting this Love and Light

Dear Alena and Lorraine, I am so pleased that you both found the information, interesting and helpful. I truly believe, that almost all our fears can be eleviated through knowledge. Most of the things we are afraid of, come through anxiety about the unknown. I try to shine a light on it, as often as I am able. Love and light Kaz

Hi Karen, I absolutely 100% agree with you about the fear thing...indeed "we only fear that which we don't know". BTW...off topic but I didn't think this was worthy and I didnt want to create a new thread for this but...I was just a little interested in a vision I had a few mornings back...I awoke early and was just lying in bed...neither sleeping nor fully awake...but I went to close my eyes and I got a quick 'image' of my foot...but I had 6 toes and it was my left foot...I quickly opened my eyes and looked down at my foot to thankfully find I had only 5 toes LOL...I wondered what that image meant? Again I wasn't dreaming...but I wasn't fully awake either. Anyway I thought you might be able to cast some light on it Karen whenever you get a chance There is no rush and its not something that is troubling me or anything...I'm just curious as to what it could have meant...if indeed it meant anything at all LOL...Thanks again for listening. Take care of yourself. Love and Light
