Hello,
CALLING ALL POETS!!
Sparlekaz and myself were talking today in chat,, and felt it would be a good idea to have a posting thread of people sharing their creative poetry.
So please join us,,, we thought it could have a theme of Summer but it really could be about anything which moves you... It could be rhymed poetry or free verse etc. But we ask that only self created poetry be included in post,, no famous poetry from others or quotes etc. Spelling mistakes allowed.
Thanks aceofcups

Hi Ace, Ok, I'll try. In summer, I’m hot. Huh, sexy? I’m not. Just weather is stuffy. Free verse sounds good, Probably I could Write my poetry.
It has no rule? That’s so cool, To give it a shot. And here I try, Though don’t know why Rhyming without a plot.
Ah! Oh! sorry It should be a poetry About summer, should it not? ……………………Summer means that the cold and dark time of winter has already gone. This Summer comes again, it reminds me of a candle which burnt itself to give light. Isn’t summer telling me that another of my year passed, and my candle is shorten? What light did I leave behind?

Hi here is a little poem, sorry I haven't edited it.
→Soul Happiness Prayer
A space where souls lives
A space where happiness lives
A space where souls meets
A space where souls dances
The dance of Joy
The dance of love
The dance of oneness
The dance if surrender
The most beautiful space , I've ever seen
The most beautiful feeling , I've ever felt
The most conscious peace , I've ever felt.

Me sitting on the wall Wall in my home Home is on the earth The building on the earth A bird on the building Sitting in the window Bird is now flying , crossing over the sky The sky is the blue , the clouds in the blue White is the cloud , blue is the sky Blue and the clouds , crossing over the sky Me under the sky Looking for my lord My lord is my love, me lost in his love Watching over the sky The bird in my eyes , crossing over the sky The sky is the blue...
This is one very random with many many grammar mistakes.

Warmth and sunlight beckons through my dark window,
Instinct tells me it's time to move,
Slowly I move upwards, bursting forth from deep within the earth,
I twist and turn, stretching, blindly seeking,
Tingling and quivering, juices rising, arms outstretched, emerald leaves unfurling,
I sway and quiver, shuddering as my crown erupts,
Hardened shell breaking open, erupting in a profusion of chocolate & butter kissed yellow,
My face I turn upwards, gently kissed by a golden glow, swaying sweetly on perfumed breezes,
I am here, I have come. A Sunflower am I, bowing in homage, to my Lord the Sun.

Hi Ace, I’ve just recalled the poetry I wrote almost 30 years ago and would like to share it here. Please ignore its “romantic” part. Come on, that time I still was a young man. I try to translate it into English (free verse). However, I have to apologize about my bad English as I try to keep the original meaning as much as I could. (And it’s about the rhyme in my language, too.) I stare at the sky, and describe it in my poetry. Looking at the flowing streamy, I finally hum along with its rhyme. Pondering the truth of life, I think and write it all down. Looking into your eyes, So much reflections in there. Where is the truth I've been searching? But your love's still been imprinting Truth and love are murmuring, and engraving into my mind.

I wrote a lot of "dark" poetry prior to my first awakening...later wrote more poetry but though it Changed, it still reflects a lot of light/dark issues I have due to the bipolar disorder. I wrote songs, though, after God and I got married, and recorded them...I don't have any idea how to share those on the 'net, but they're "like" poetry, really, so I want to share one here in writing - one I have shared before somewhere; I wrote this about God a long time ago, and got "permission" from my spirit guide to amend it because it Fits Now, in many ways:
Deep within this shattered life, a heartache hides behind each smile - No one is the wiser; but they don’t see inside. Suffering brings such tender pain when friends are few and far between; Still I know we’re One….stand by my side… Oh, when I feel I can’t go on, I am Not alone…
Even in my darkness, I feel you Care for me; Your words are like a soothing balm, your arms are holding me; Even in my darkest hour Your Love comes over me; Just look at my reflection to Know how You change Me.
Sometimes in my misery, when there’s no word to comfort me, Shadows start to whisper… have all forgotten me? But just beyond each stormy sky, there’s Light enough to blind the eye Sending all my shadows running to hide
‘Cause when I feel I can’t go on, I am not all alone: Even in my darkness, I feel you Care for me; Your words are like a soothing balm, your arms are holding me; Even in my darkest hour, Your Love comes over me; Just look at my reflection to Know how You change Me…. You’ll see in our reflection the Love in You and Me.

That is so beautiful and heartfelt Mercy. I know that feeling of being held and supported, as if enfolded by a warm soft blanket that makes you feel loved and safe. Even in those moments when feeling so alone and afraid. I truly believe we are never alone, and that it is those souls who have so much to give, that are often tested the most. I don't think we are given anything that we don't have the strength within to overcome. And when we falter, we are lifted up by unseen hands.
Love and light Kaz

My, how self-absorbed I have become! Gracious. I had sequestered myself (without much outside contact) for nearly 3 years prior to May - for good reason - but it brought me even More into myself, and all this "talking" has built up and spilled out since then without my taking the Time to tell you how Much I appreciate what you are sharing (clicking "like" just Doesn't do enough) I enjoyed Everyone's poetry; it's amazing how one poem - like by aceofcups - can paint a beautiful picture, while another - like by alena - can convey such Feeling! Poetry is quite the gift to us, as music and art are, and often Much more given to the expression of Intent than mere words... I enjoyed Kaz's poem and was thinking, Kaz - what about crafting your story of the tangled pendant necklace into a poem? It Feels like it could be Thank you all - "Just Me"

Thank you for your kind words Mercy. I hadn't thought of turning the tangled pendant necklace into a poem, but I will now. I think retiring from the world and spending time in self imposed isolation can be very good for us. A time to absorb what we have learned and to process our experiences to date. But when you return to 'the world' for want of a better word. It can often be like a dam bursting. And it is wonderful to share 'out loud' all the things we've discovered, with other people. To hear their thoughts, opinions and perspectives. It's not so much for validation. But as a mean's of solidifying our thoughts for our own sake. I think we need it. I know I do. Love and light Kaz

This poem is about Autumn
AUTUMN WHISPERS
the cool breezes, and the falling leaves of autumn carried by the winds
so rough and fading the autumn's sunset of red and gold, falls sooner in the night sky
a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors! brings back memories of her childhood... the harvest of pumpkins
bright orange and ready for Halloween makes her reflect upon the autumns of her past as the seasons constantly spins ...
she sings farewell
October is bittersweet, as she reflects upon the seasons of her past...
Autumn whispers...
goodbye again to another season...
and farewell...

A long time ago I knew someone who had walked the Earth as an "old soul"....please continue to note that I was not taught "reincarnation" or "old souls" and have only come to the understanding of things This Year.
Anyway...this poem is one I Wrote about her, after knowing her, to portray her pain because her Current life seemed so defined by her Past, and though I did not Understand it I could See it. I did not change my punctuation and style from its original...
"Seasons of the Soul"
Waiting. A frozen landscape Waits, to be warmed by Spring...
Dark clouds loom Emotions spatter striking my skinless form in gale-driven lashes of Pain.
The sky the air around me now a Roiling Sea, Crashing its might blistering my body Breaking it upon the sand.
I lie motionless Motionless. Would the earth consume me?
Oh, to exist No More in the guise of life, bare of Breath corporeal flesh; Washed away leaving no mark.
Warmth. Warmth stretches its fingertips to mold That which Remains.
A landscape appears Fluid, free Memories eroding with each stroke of Spring's brush
Gratified Not, for it Remembers Not
the Soul, shaped with Seasons of Change.
Mary Anne
