Hi All,
Here is a beautiful short video of a place not far from where I live. The photos capture the picturesque and simplistic beauty of our shores. The music is both haunting and captivatingly beautiful, like the place itself. I just wanted to share my love of these shores with you all. I hope you enjoy and can see the mysterious nature of Island Life here in the West of Ireland. I hope others will be inspired to share their own cultures. Thanks for watching. Love and Light

Hi Lorraine, Nice! Thanks for sharing. It reminds me of what Knut Hamsun wrote about Nordland (Northern Norway): "I give thanks for the lonely night, for the hills, for the whispering of the darkness and the sea. Listen in the east and listen in the west, but listen! That is the everlasting God! This stillness murmuring in my ear is the blood of all nature seething, is God weaving through the world and through me."He wrote about the endless summer nights there: "colored the horizon with a fatty, red light, motionless like oil. Everywhere the sky was open and pure. I gazed into the clear sea and it was as if I lay face to face with the depths of the earth, and as if my beating heart went out to those depths and was at home there. God knows, I thought to myself, why the horizon clothes itself in mauve and gold tonight; or perhaps there is some celebration above the world." P.S. I like the scene of the reflections of sky and mountain on the sea. Very serene. I also like watching when it was raining in the sea (saw it only some times in my life.) Not a heavy rain, but calm, very gentle one. When the water from the sky was touching the water below, it looked like the fine silk curtain unfurling from the sky above! A bit about Hamsun: it’s said that he supported Nazi. I don’t know if it was true. But it might be true that some characters in his novels didn’t know how to please woman much: "I am depressed and full of sad thoughts," he said. And in her sympathy she made no answer. "I love three things," He said, "I love a dream of love I once had, I love you, and I love this patch of earth." "And which do you love the best?" "The dream."
