Hi all, I have another fun experiment if you would like to take part. We all have a connection to something...something higher than ourselves...something divine...some call this super consciousness...”GOD” ...but what image would represent God if you had to paint a picture? For example...Do you see God as a male or female? Or maybe you see God as a spirit or an energy or vibration. How would you illustrate your image of God? What I am asking, is for you to verbally Paint an image...be as descriptive as possible...i.e. What colours would you use? What medium would you use...Paper, canvas...Paint, pencil...brush, finger tips etc. Let’s see what beautiful images we can produce. So... WHAT IS YOUR IMAGE OF GOD?

Hi cyberangel. I envision an ever-evolving collective consciousness of souls and whatever other beings and substance (angels? archangels?) the All is comprised of.

Maybe God is like a huge curtain that we cannot see behind, but which is covered with eyes and ears to keep watch over us with, and also has arms reaching out of, offering to help, if we would only ask.

Hi Lorraine, Ok, I’ll try here. As I have been in chronic (physical) pain for almost 30 years, along with mental pain (as for mental pain, who doesn’t, right?), every time I’m in pain, I feel like I’m in hell and the only thing I wish for is….relieving from that pain asap, not another else, not even a million dollars! And every time I’m relieved from my pain, I feel like I’m in heaven. :-) So, my image of God (for speaking’s sake here) has to show these two aspects, hell and heaven. For example, an emoticon of crying that has been erasing by an eraser until it turns out to be a BIG smiley emoticon finally. Hahaha.

Not sure Angel how I would or could paint Absolute Everything paradoxically combined with Absolute Nothing..... It would contain EVERY Color and NO Colors in a continuous every-changing conscious flux of Being and Non-Being. and adding a universal dash of Love and Joyfull Bliss.

I've had two experiences of that state. You described it perfectly. The only thing I'll add: my sensory experiences included angelic harmony (literally sounded like angels or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir toning) along with the sweetest smell, like heavenly honey or how, as a child, the world smelled on a summer's day. Oh, and I was still me, and I still felt a sense of individual self. But I also experienced connection to and with everything outside of me. I was it, and it was me. Was that God? I don't know. Close enough for me though, plus it fits my personal belief theory.

Well I certainly do not see G*d as a female. It would be hard to worship something wearing skirts and baking cookies. Going "eek" at my snake collection is not the way gain any points with me!
On the other hand a strong Macho guy with wrinkles, white beard, and baggy robes seems like over kill. A nice little shrimp would indeed be a Cosmic joke on us although the halo would probably get through the disguise.
Actually I can not imagine G*d even as I can't bring myself to even ettempt a proper name. The TRAIL would be visable though. Simple eloquence with all the universe behind it! Sacred Geometry; the tourmalines I see in the fields; even looking at the stars in the sky suggest something. Looking out thru the corner of me eye is the best I can do now - just going outside the sunlight is blinding now that it is summer. How much more would the image of G*d be ?!

Thank you all for your replies and for your time and effort. You have all created a unique piece of a never ending jig-saw picture. Searching for an image that is beyond our imaginations is not easy, but you all have contributed and provided some beautiful images. Thank you all.
If I were to paint my image of God I would draw a huge eye, and no matter from what direction you look...the eye would always be looking directly at you, into you...
The white of the eye would be the purest brightest white there could be...it would represent the birth of creation...the innocence and wonder of everything...it would symbolize the love and light within all conceptions.
The Iris of the eye would hold the most beautiful hues of all colours...and when you look closer you would see the depths of the deepest oceans...swirling and flowing...full of life and energy...with an abundance of strength.
The pupil would be the innermost softest black...which would magnetically draw you into the core within...it would hold stars and galaxies and universes...you would see your past, present and future lives all before you...there would be no time nor distance between you and God...you would merge with the creator and become one.
This is but just one particle of the vastness of God’s camouflaged image.
Thank You all again and I hope others will continue to add to this picture.
Love and Light

The only image I can think of would be a 270 degree version (because of peripheral vision) of the Hubble deep space image.
