Tina Turner - Help clip by BetterManVienna
When I was younger, so much younger than today, I listened to The Beatles singing this song in another way But now these days are gone, I’m not that young any more Now I find I've changed my mind, I've opened up the doors. :-)
I don’t listen to this song as a love song any more. There’s a truth of life in it, the loneliness of the older? And I’m already that old. Why do I hang out here? Because sometimes when I'm feeling down, my spiritual friends can really help me get my feet back on the ground again. I wasn't like this when I was young, so much younger than today. That time I could live alone in the forest for years without any problem. :-)
P.S. One of my friend who used to work in a carehome told me that the care workers there always found an old husband on his wife’s bed, just to lie down there with her and hold her hand. (Why didn’t they allow this? What a cruel!) There are many old persons who their adult kids brought them there. Some of them might have the good reasons to do that but most of them not.
