The biggest question you can probably ask is what is the meaning of life? Does there have to be a meaning, are we just biological beings that have come into existence, who play out a multitude of meaningless activities. Or is there more meaning to life, are we part of a grander scheme of events that we are unaware of? What are your thoughts on the meaning of life?

Hi Leon, My thoughts, on the ‘Meaning of life’ are that there is not just one meaning but millions of meanings, depending on each and every person. My meaning could be completely different from your meaning. I think my meaning of life is, finding the balance in everything and to understand my true self so I can develop, change, grow and advance not only in this life but the next. Many run away from life or choose to hide. Why would someone do that? Well truth is we have all probably done it at some stage, out of fear or not having the self confidence to be ourselves. We are creators. We create dreams and desires, hopes and fears. We continuously create both consciously and subconsciously. The question is...”Did we create all this before we arrived or are we creating it as we move forward through life?” I am sure some are just here for the ride, the experience, the challenge or the success. Is it even important that we know our meaning in life? Maybe if we already knew we would skip vital life lessons and not fully develop. Would we cheat our way through life if we knew what we were here for? I think, deep down we already know what our meaning is in this life, but for our greater interests we choose to forget, I think those of us that come close to remembering, suddenly get side tracked to keep us from discovering too soon. Throughout my life so far, I have left little trails behind, in hope that if I return, I shall remember something of the life before (if that even makes sense LOL) but from a very young age, I have burnt images into my mind, memory, soul, in hope that I can remember who I was in this life. I often wonder if that is the cause of ‘de ja vo’ in early life. Life for me now is all about synchronicities. My son (aged 13) had his first ‘Deja vu’ experience a few weeks back, and he said that he knew for a split second that he had seen it before. He was in awe at what had happened and I smiled because I knew this is just the start my son, you are on the path Anyway, I’m not convinced that ‘The meaning of life’ is all that important to us, but I’m sure it’s a question that will be asked until the end of time. I hope more people will comment on your question Leon, it would be interesting to read what others think. Love and Light

I believe that there is a multitude of meaning and purpose for us all in life; and that each person will have something unique and specific that is important to them. Having said that I also feel that as we get older, and go through different phases of life. What was once important and necessary for us will change. I believe we have our physical earthly purpose and a higher spiritual purpose. It is funny I have never really thought about it in those terms before. It's funny isn't it, how a question can trigger a train of thought, that can take us in a direction we've never gone before.
On one level, I believe our earthly physical purpose runs parallel alongside our spiritual development. Then when our responsibilities for others in life lessen, we are able to once more spend time focusing more on our own needs and requirements. It also seems to be a time when we are compelled by circumstance or an inner motivation, to examine more closely, long held beliefs or patterns of negative behaviour, that no longer serve us, or seem to fit the people we are becoming. Regardless of the reason, I think the end result is one where we rekindle our interests in the world and the meaning of life, and through this feel stimulated, again, curious and eager to carry on learning.
Yes, I think we go through many cycles in life, and each one reveals to us another aspect of ourselves. Revealing also sometimes abilities and qualities we have not yet explored or have lain dormant. Waiting for the right time and conditions for them to appear. So I suppose what I am saying is, that I believe our purpose is to learn, grow and evolve; And that it is a wonderful continuous process.
Love and light Kaz

The biggist and best meaning of life is to think and act like there is one. At one level that might be a delusion but another level it is what you have created for yourself and the others. Even if it does not work out you can say it still matters because you thought it did and it was your right to do that.
Just dont bother to argue about it. You can lose an argument but nobody can force you to accept their meaning or lack of meaning of life. It it just your choice of how you are.

In simple words it is your mind that thinks that we have meaning in our life. There is nothing like meaning in our life.We are just acting but you must not think that you are acting ,God is acting through you.

In simple words it is your mind that thinks that we have meaning in our life. There is nothing like meaning in our life.We are just acting but you must not think that you are acting ,God is acting through you. Doesn't that just mean that the meaning of life is to let God act through you? My thoughts are that we chose what our life means because it gives it a vision, purpose and direction. It can be something general like making and eventually leaving the world a better place for all or maybe just your family, or something specific, like Ghandi's liberation of India from occupation. Meaning is inherent in our actions because it our actions which show what our intentions are. An actionless life and thus a meaningless life is impossible. Every life has meaning, not given by anything outside of us, not necessarily even chosen consciously, but always expressed by our own thoughts and behaviour.
