Hello everyone,
In advance, sorry to bother with my question but I really need an answer on this. I'm writing a book which mixes up mythologies from all other the world (egyptian, aztec, greek...) where, to sum up quickly, the good fights the evil. And I would like to introduce Gods from the hindu mythology in it, especially Vishnou, who will appear as a new reincarnation on Earth and lead His people to victory along with other heroes from other mythologies. My book is very spiritual for those who can read beyond the lines, not introducing Vishnou will mean leave on one side a big part of the world (culturally speaking) and I don't want to do that because I think there's so many great things in there. But even if I truly believe in God, the book is a fiction and I've been asking myself if introducing Hindu Gods in the story won't be equal as introducing Muhammad or Jesus in it (I know the Christians and the Muslims will be really pissed off if I do because all these religions are still alive)? So, here I'm asking. Would you Hindu people bother if I introduce Hindu Gods in my book? I don't expect my text to be an international blast but I don't want to mess up with people belief.
I look forward to get true believers' opinions on this, if not, thanks for having read anyway.

If the God's of the Egyptians, the Aztecs and the Greeks are in your book, so should the God's of Hinduism and any other Religion. Who can prove which are Mythology, truth or fiction. They are all similar in the fact they have been worshipped throughout millennia. No one can truly prove or disprove these God's as they are of the mind and the heart. So to be fair you should give credence to them all.
