Going about town I am struck with images. Some are this and some are that and some are not at all congruent with each other which is why I use the term "struck". Lots of trash and grafitti contrast with minature Catholic shrines in front yards. Some lawns display the U.S.A. Marines flag proudly and others have Che Guevara posters in evidence. My own two cars both have National Rifle Association stickers on the back while others have OBAMA BIDEN bumper stickers. A fine line between admiration and defiance! But what does it all mean?
They say your love is where you spend your money. Or devote your time. That is good as far as it goes in times of need. When times are good you don't need to prioritize. Things precious will take care of themselves so not to worry. Life isn't suposed to be endless melodrama and maybe there isn't any threat now anyway.
We all tend to agonize over resolutions forgotten, vows broken, tasks abandoned. We promised ourselves and then walked away. Never mind it might have been impossible to begin with. Youthfull dreams and death bed promises have that much in common: they are long on emotion and short on exactly HOW it all suposed to come to pass.
I do not recall, all those years spent in Sunday School, even much hearing about how the ancients delt with many of the hot button issues of today. The importance and maintenance of pets. Mental illness. Socialism. Over population. Abortion. Freedom. It would seem the ancients were too busy bumping each other off to ever be nuerotic. Is that what we need to go back to?
I hope not. We spilled enough blood in the past to last us for an eternity.
Still I wonder what is important. And how to deal with that. And if the old dogmas have anything of use to help us. I can imagine some prophet of old coming back and mounting his soap box to warn us about things totally irrelevant. We have become the future and solved many problems and the Promised Land has not turned out to be what we expected at all. Can we even be sure we are heading in the right direction?
To my dieing day I will maintain things are and should be judged by their practicallity. If it works that speaks for itself. If not it is to be researched why not or discarded. That does not in any way shape or form discredit the arts and spirituality; truth and beauty will always be bought and sold for some price even as their seekers put some price on them well worth the effort. But one of the most challenging questions I am asked is "why?" "Why do you bother?". At some level I demure - because it is the law. Or because it is expected of me. At another level I just do not seem to care. I just do it. I have little or no choice. It is a part of me to do or be in a certain way.
I don't desire to be a saint. Or a martyr. Or even to be vindicated much less holy. To seek G*d is to assume an existance I can't understand to begin with. The Scriptures gave rules and dogma to peoples long passed away; the contract long ago expired as far as I am concerned. But the question is: given the choices people had over the milleniums and the guidance they received from their religions and spiritually and given some of them survived in comfort grace and dignity what and how did they discover what was important in life?

Attending a Seminar, Visiting a Holy Place, Loving the Animals, Helping the Poor, Flowing with the Music, Keeping away himself/herself from the crowd, Eating Less Food, Living in the horizon of Positive thoughts, Chanting a Mantra, practicing the breathing techniques, Sitting close to a River, Getting involved/busy in some extra activity, Donating the Money, Becoming a Atheist/Saint, Cutting down on the thoughts process and many many other activities that we use to see and experience from different individuals, own level of understanding and living the life in their own way of satisfaction.
And, every individual is free to decide, act & behave the way any activity satisfies his/her own sense of understanding the things & react accordingly to them.
Different Saints from different communities have been walk through this spiritual channel & have their own learnings being shared with the society, according to what they make out from that practice, they had choosen to live life.
Either its in the form of Awakening the Kundalini/sixth Sense. Whatever they call, it's nothing and everything that starts and flows from one point only.
What's important for my friend, may not important to me. And, that's a human collaborational terminology in terms of every individual is for their own. There is no one outside, to change the other side. Sharing experiences or Living the life in a particular format may not even bother the other side to follow it the same way. As everything is all in the Nature, by the Nature & for the nature only. Nothing is away from it.
What is Important or necessary is just a materialistic version of understanding the things and claiming to know the reality in person.
- Nothing is real & Nothing is Illusion. - Every body is One & One in Everyone. - Love is unconditional & having a condition in something is also a form of love. - Looking for something extra to know, & living in the same is also something new. - Convincing the other side or Listening the other side is both same. - Smoking the cigarette or being a part of the passive smoking is both same. - Doing a Crime & Be part of the crime are same. - Loving the Physical Body or loving the Soul are both same. - Keeping yourself along with the Crowd or sitting in a silent place with having lot of thoughts running around your mind are same. - Being positive or being negative are just a pictorial representation of this Spirit & Physical body, which has a deep impact on the soul is also the same thing.
So, the teacher has his/her own way of teaching the same education. But, its the student by his/her own that matters, how he/she grasps/understands the teachings from the guru. Rather blaming the other side for any incompetence is just a way of convincing our own conscious brain & thought to satisfy our own self as a correct identity that lives in this society with zero faults.
What is important is just a categorization of the time and the place that every individual lives. The brain & thoughts from experience and lot of studies make a assumption/principle of assurance, that gives a inner confidence(Ego) of having that quality of judging who is right and who is wrong. And that judgement is in itself is biggest clash for the change in this spiritual journey of path that we all are passing by day to day basis.
Living the life of Saint/Atheist is nothing more then living a life of Army person in comparison to the general class of people that lives in the society.
Yes, it's true that the more you have discipline in life, the better the own self either in the materialistic or the spiritualistic part. As, they both are nothing but two faces of a same coin.
Having that feeling of knowing something extra is the starting point of the clash of the plane. It's good to follow under the teachers guidance. But, that needs something called as faith/trust, which is lacking now a days in this Kaliyug.
In other way, It's also good to do what the individual wants. As, having a passion of something is in itself makes you already clears the half way battle, in the form of confidence, trust, patience, acceptance, compromise.
Listening to the Saints is one among the best and foremost key to be called as an asset for this individuals growth, from letting him/herself out from the Materialistic illusion of what he/she is living & let them realize the reality of their own reason for coming here on this earth. So, every atheist has his/her own way of explaining the spiritual things to the society.
So, its completely in the hands of the individual to decide and realize what is right or what is wrong for him/herself. The more you see and compare yourself with the other side, the harder you are going to make it difficult to let yourself reach to a stage of actually accepting the spiritual gain by yourself.
And, this is how nature works. So, rather having that feeling that I am doing something or I will make the things workout my way. Let, accept the fact that everything that happens is already happening by the nature. And we are just playing our own individual role in it, as a human spirit that came to this earth, who is the most well created version of that divine/God himself.
The more we have contradictions, the difficult it will be actually get out from the puzzle easily.
Let free yourself as much as you can.
Being Free is the biggest key to face/accept anything that comes to life in the way of situations. And, what important is not to forget that Practice makes a Man Perfect. So, our own efforts can bring any change within us. And, they are completely on the individual to choose any path which he/she feels to be the best platform for them, even in the spiritual journey as well.
Ameen.
God Bless Everyone.

Contradiction is nothing more than having a logical/philosophical/inconsistent approach to something which the individual himself/herself is not sure about. Having this condition of comparing things with good/bad, right/wrong/ yes/no, if/but, How/why, Me/They, Truth/Lie, Accept/Neglect, Correct/Incorrect and many else are just how this brain works for this human creature in the nature to contradict between a single thing in two separate parameters of judging it by own self. For e.g. We all know that who so ever has born will die one day. And, yes there is no doubt in neglecting this journey of life that is a law of the nature for each and every element/creature who has been present in this whole galaxy. But, still knowing something and actually experiencing the same thing are two different situations of actually how we deal in the life. If we hear a news on the TV that X number of people have died in the blast. Then, its easy for any individual who has no relation with that incident at all to put a thought as "One who has born, will die one day". But, if the same situation happens to our own life, then The most positive as well negative part of this nature which is called as "Emotion", becomes active according to our own relationship to the person died. And, yes then the above statement "One who has born, will die one day" becomes secondary and the primary thing called as the individuals own emotional attachment with the deceased & the memories related to him/her becomes so so heavy on this spirit, called/seen as Human body that can't be explained in words for every individuals own mindset and involvement with the natures activities. So, being diplomatic is good for the business but not for the reality (personal life) too. Loving/Hating somebody is just a way of expressing the emotions about him/her. The best and simplest method of keeping yourself out from the stress/depression/anxiety is to practice living in the reality, in what ever way a individual would like and love to. There cannot be/should not be a way that should be taken as a thumb rule to follow. Every individual is by their own. There are many many examples where individuals have this thought by saying that they are bored with doing this Meditation and being silent. And at the same time, It's true also that Meditation is the only key to experience Moksha. But, as I said earlier every Individual is completely free to do and decide as what he/she wants to do and feel satisfied of. So, both of them having trouble with Meditation or the one who has been enlightened with Meditation are completely true by their own ways. The fact of the matter is even this physical body doesn't vanishes after the death. It will get mixed with the same from its own origin once again. So, there is no end of anything in this nature. To end something is in itself is a reflection of a stage of looking to harm something. Silence is something that can bring a lot of changes in the individuals own perception of seeing the things and acting on them at different times with different reactions on the mind and the body both. Finding anything that relaxes your mind, is a way of actually passing the time and not more than that. And we have been passing time since last billions of years by coming here or somewhere where else in different shapes and creations of this mother earth/nature. Its' Ok that this physical body will be act that way it will. As its a part of the nature, and will behave the way it will be involved with the nature activities. So, first of all its important to check out what is that which actually bring a change in your own thoughts either they gets positive or negative. Working out on something can be more effective, when we are aware of the cause of the particular situation. Dealing with family members/neighbors/friend or anybody else is just a role that we are playing according to our own script being prepared by us only through our past karmas & present behavior. Having a feeling of Scared of something is not always bad, if its for the betterment of the individual. So, the more we let our thoughts free from inside. And, accept things the way they are coming to our way, by putting our own efforts with less expectations, is the biggest key to let the individual be safe and away from the unnecessary contradictory statements that run in his/her mind all the time in this materialistic world that we all living in right now, called as Kaliyug. Ameen. God Bless Everyone
