God wants to kill me

Hey there,
Recently I have been experiencing a lot of lucid dreams which are all very different from one another but I thought that I should share my last one as it has shaken me up a little. I have been going through a rather personal rough patch in my life whilst experiencing a lot of pain and unpleasant thoughts and emotions, maybe that why my dream is so messed up! 
 
I'v recently failed at university and I am depressed. I then find myself cutting off a small teddy's head which is hanging from something. Displayed almost like a ritual. I am also aware that this is what my life has been leading up to. After the 'ritual' is done God appears as human form and sits next to me on my bed quite casually and we talk for some time, although we both know why he's here. He then tells me that this has to happen and he slowly starts bringing his finger towards me knowing that with a single touch it'll kill me. At first I lay and accept it then I start to panic, he shows me that someone else had the same teddy bear that I could of used but it would have killed that owner. I'm glad I didn't know that. Still in a state of panic I beg him not to kill me but he refuses, I beg some more and tell him that I will do anything to not die. It ends with him not killing me and me sitting opposite him. 

I know its screwed up but i have no idea what this means. I knows it is significant somehow but i just don't know how to interpret it myself.

Welcome to the dream board.

Lucid dreams are very special. They mean that you have become aware while you are dreaming, that it is a dream. Dreams like this can be a very powerful tool for self growth and healing. I also believe, that they are the dreams that we will remember in more detail. So any guidance or message within the dream from your higher self, the wise aspect of the dreamer, will be retained. So for me this would indicate that you as a person, have a very strong connection to your intuition, and in waking life are very sensitive. So having said all of that, let us now look at your dream.


In dream symbology a university represents the opportunity for 'higher learning'. To me this would mean spiritual growth. When we dream of schools, colleges and universities, we are being reminded, that 'life' is a school. We are here to learn and grow. We learn from every aspect of our lives; We are taught something by all the people we meet and the situations we encounter. We will keep experiencing certain scenario's and situations, until we learn the lesson we are meant to learn from them. It is believed, that every night when we dream, we also 'learn' in schools of higher levels.

We may not remember what we have learned, but the lessons will be absorbed into our unconscious mind and on a soul level. They manifest themselves I believe, at times of need in life, when we have to make important decisions and choices. Which could be seen as listening to our 'gut instincts' or that small voice within that will be telling you to heed those little 'red flag moments' that tell us something is not right. In your dream, you believe you have failed at university, this would indicate to me, that in life, you feel you have failed at something. This could be in a relationship situation, at a job that you do, or simply that you have let others down, even more importantly, yourself down in some way! Only you know if this is meaningful to you Amy.

This is emphasized by the fact that you feel depressed within the dream. Depression signifies low energy. In waking life, you are having problems seeing things clearly. Your judgement is impaired, in the sense that the low energy is affecting your ability to see the cause and affect consequences. Especially within relationships. A suggestion to try to counteract this if you can, is to try to meditate. By slowing down your thoughts, especially if you have been in emotional turmoil. Calming your mind, will enable you to be able to view life, situations from a higher perspective. To regain some clarity. If meditating is not something you feel able to do at this time; Try just sitting quietly somewhere and listen to some relaxing music. Or do something soothing and therapeutic, like painting or working outside in nature. Plant some flowers, tend a garden.

Teddy bears symbolise, cuddling, warmth and affection. A need for self love. A teddy bear represents unconditional love. It reminds us of a time as children, when we would cuddle our teddy bears for comfort. They do not talk back, hurt or rebuff affection. An innocence if you will. The fact that the head of the Teddy has been cut off, denotes a painful experience, maybe a rejection or deep hurt inflicted by something or someone in waking life. In some ways to me its symbolic of a end of that innocence, a disillusionment with love. Which would imply to me that something of this nature, has happened to you.

There are two messages here though Amy. One is the symbolic message reflecting something that has been happening to you in waking life. But it is also reminding you that the most important thing you can do for yourself, is to 'love yourself'. Do not rely on others to give you love, happiness and self worth. Do not define yourself by how others treat you. You are a beautiful, loving person, who is worthy of love. But if you do not start to love yourself more, you will be drawn to others who will not give you the love and respect you deserve. All our relationships. Those we attract to us, can be seen as a reflection of how we see and treat ourselves.

To see God in a dream symbolises Love, Light, Truth and creative power. Wisdom, Oneness, Infinity, higher self and teacher within people and all things. He is about all encompassing love, total acceptance and the power to manifest all things. In your dream, his presence, is showing you, that all these things are yours. He is also showing you that you are never alone, and that he walks by your side. In your dream you believe that God wants to kill you. Now in dream symbology, to be killed does not mean literal death as we would think of it in waking life. To kill something off in dream symbology, is about getting 'rid of' something. Killing off beliefs, behaviors or energies represented by the victim. In this case the victim is you. So what God represents is trying to kill off the negative aspects of your behaviour that is causing you pain. Just as we prune a plant or cut away dead growth to encourage new roots, and fresh growth.

This aspect of the dream I feel, was actually a healing part. Though I can see why it frightened you. If in life you have a faith in God or a spiritual belief, in a divine source. Trust that God would do nothing to hurt you and wants only to love and help you. This part of the dream is I feel emphasising that for you to be able to move forward with your life. To heal from whatever has wounded or hurt you. There are things that you must let go of, leave behind. They no longer have a place in your life. In the end, you plead to be allowed to live, so that you can change yourself. On a unconscious level, this is you acknowledging yourself, that changes need to be made. You know this, and you will do all you can to change your own life. Which is very empowering. Have faith in yourself Amy, you are so much stronger then you realise. You I believe already knew these changes had to occur, and this dream has very forcibly brought this home to you. Which I believe is the point of it, and why it was a lucid dream to reinforce the dream message.

Dreams/Intuition/Awakening of the Mind/Sixth Sense Advice/Willpower :


These all are actually the residents of the sub-consciousness called as the place of that divine/soul, which knows everything about the past, present and the future. The ideas that this brain gets in the conscious stage, are actually the root/source of incoming from this place (sub-consciousness only.) Great people like Einstein and many others were actually one among those many who themselves have admitted the importance of meditation and the way of their own thinking thats why they were exceptional and different from others normal human beings.

So, this clears out one doubt that in a fact of approving the importance of meditation by itself.

Now In Individuals prospective, the brain works according to the usage of it, no matter whether using it for good or bad things/activities. But, whatever this body do/think, it gets stored in the sub-conscious mind automatically. So, the chain is pretty clear in terms of analyzing the memory power and the sixth sense of using it by individual.


Coming back to your own personal Dream :


Though its being said that nothing is stagnant, everything is gonna change. And change is the reality of this life/nature. So, this body grows in terms of maturity and experiences according to the spirits own level of practice and efforts being done by them till now, since they were coming here on earth and goes back again and again.

So, yes this body is a machine and the user is the one who lives in it and channelize this object according to its own choice of liking it. But, in sub-consciouness whatever enters once, it will gets stored over there for the lifetime, till there is no such enlightment being experienced by spirit themselves.

And the interpretation of dreams is made accordingly as per the individuals own experiences of them. But, ultimately its the user/object who knows what is being going through inside him/her (genetically) in respect to the feelings/emotions that makes them feel the same.....And how long do they let it get themselves involved with the same.

We as a human being/object have this complimentary service by the nature to go on dreams and see something exceptional that we can't see while being in the conscious. And the experiences that happens in the forms of Dreams/meditation can't be explained in the words, as they both have there own way of coming and going to the individual according to its own level of spiritual growth/materialistic lifestyle.

That's why whatever we see in dreams also, is a clear representation of the present we are living in & with the kind of society we had been or connecting to at that point of time....something that has a very strong effect on this body (brain, heart, thought process), gets more larger in the shape of being revolving in our mind most of the times, in the form of dreams/daily revision.

Like for eg.....If you get terminated by the company, then though you may forgot everything about the company...But, you will never ever let that persons name/face get washed away from your mind, who was one among the most common reason of being involved in doing the activities operationally as wells as physically in the process of letting you out from the place, which in your own self you would have deserves the most.....


Same as like, anythings that happen in our life on daily basis also.....Leaves a mark either stronger, lighter, neutral in its own way of the effects that we get to face through them....



Your dreams are as same as like that only....And dont let it force or make it hard for you to feel something especial/uncommon about it.....This is not to de-motivate you in any way.....But to let you move further for the next step, that you came across in the form of the GOD being came into your dream, & letting you realize that whatever you are doing over here is nothing more than that of playing as a player & part of the game.....So, whichever actions you will do, if its against the rules of the game/Nature, then get ready for the reactions/results that you have to face in the conscious life in its own way of judging the individuals karmas....
