Hi Guys,
I try to nurture my mind with positive thoughts and positive things in that nature but I find it hard to remebr thoe things when you know you get hit with a negative sitution is there any sayings i can create or any Breathing excersise i can do. this can really help for those rainy days.

There is only one cure to alleviate the mind of its negativities and waywardness, constant meditation on God is the miracle cure – the Divine medicine, and yet many do not reach for it.

Attitude is the foundation of thoughts. That is what they arise out of. A negative attitude will invariably give rise to negative thought and the same for positive attitude and thinking. To focus and try to change ones thought by focusing on the thoughts can result in limited success. To achieve good results one has to focus on attitude. Attitude in turn is shaped in a major way by beliefs and so this is where the work has to begin.
Change in your beliefs will result in a changed attitude which in turn will produce different thoughts.
Some people maintain that one cannot chose one's beliefs, which means that changing them is not possible either. However, even under such conditions, one can always chose into what one puts one's faith. To examine into what ones puts one's faith, is it the Bible, science, a philosophy, nature and natural law, religion, etc. a good and effective strategy to put one's life on a more satisfactory footing.

hi, breathing exercise is really good .. moreover talking to some family member or good friend helps .. or listening to some holy chants reading holy books or listening the content of the books is good as god is source of all positivity. charu

Most negativity comes from external sources. If you are centered in yourself, you can sense where they come from. And with a little practice, this will come easily for you.
"Me"... or "not me".
If they are "not you", then exhale naturally and think of sinking roots into the Earth as you do. Say to yourself: "Not mine." and relax as you let the energy run into the Earth. (It doesn't matter whether you are standing on the ground, in a high- rise on the 32nd floor, etc. You can sink roots as far down as necessary by simply thinking about it.)
Then disconnect, don't look at the past, and move on in the present.
If they are internal- from you- see an appropriate healer / counselor.
