I had a short little dream a few days ago. It was that my mind was moving down a dark black tunnel towards a bright light. I tend to notice the consistency and the make up of the tunnel. The tunnel was square and the walls not solid but just like empty space. I could touch or even move into the dark space if i so desired. I had the dream several times, and was in rush or was I being hindered me getting to to light. Like all good dreams it was very real, noticible, These were the feelings that accompanied my dream.

Hi Mcc,
In dream symbology, a tunnel symbolises a passageway through levels of consciousness to new insight and expanded reality. The other aspect of this visual, can be a tendency to being tunnel visioned in life. So tendency to have become fixed on a certain view of life or persective. Only you know which of these two interpretations, is meaningful to you, and feels right.
The darkness of the tunnel indicates that something unknown is emerging from the unconscious. It can indicate that in life you are walking through a situation which is affecting your energy and ability to see clearly, or the situation with clarity. When you meditate focus on raising your energy and turning on your inner light. In the dream the light is ahead, so you are moving towards it. This could be an indication, that if there is a situation in your life, that has been a drain on your energy, its affect on you is lessening.
In the dream you say the tunnel is square shaped, this can indicate becoming boxed in and controlled. Not thinking outside of the box. On another level, the square symbolises balance in partnerships. So if there are area's in your life relationship wise that are not in balance, this may be something to look at. It also refers to the balancing of the elements. Earth, air, fire and water. Maybe something to meditate on?
You say the feelings you had in this dream were either of being rushed or hindered. Which is a contradiction in terms. Could your desire to move forward quickly, be hindering your development? Just something to consider, in light of the other symbolism in your dream. Have you become a little fixed or rigid in some aspects of your spirituality? Is the controlling aspect of your nature, making you intellectualise things to much rather then going on your instincts, feelings and intuition?
This is your dream Mcc, ultimately you the dreamer, knows what this means to you. This is only my interpretation of your dream, so please only take from it that which resonates with you, or makes you think. I would appreciate your feedback.
Love and light Kaz

hello sparkles thank you for such an inciteful reply i was neither being rushed or hindered in the tunnel is a more accurate statement and for some reason i need to add that when i reached and touch the darkness it felt soft velvet while i was cautious of not wandering into the darkness there was no great fear being in the tunnel or even in the dark indeed now as myself reflect on this dream movement of mind the best description to give as i moved in the tunnel.
