As many of you have well heard about the present shift in human consciousness from the 3rd dimension to the 5th dimension, there is relevance in Scripture that reveals this happening in the last days;
acts 2:17 - And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Now, this is without a doubt, in my mind at least, very relevant from my experience and from where I see it. People seeking spirituality at an all time high, probably ever, young and old, and many are experiencing this shift that ALL soon will, but the thing is, many just won't accept that God is, and they claim evolution and fabricate they're own concepts of the subject, "Spiritual Science..?" come on, not long ago, what believer of evolution would have even considered the human spirit? I may not have provided a heap of Scripture, but if you can see where I'm coming from, I'd like to hear some input.

I have wondered about this myself. Many or most of the human race seemed to have given up; relying on the system to provide for them; putting their faith in the one true ruler; patiently waiting for the reward they expect that is hopefully just around the corner. That they are utterly unable to do things for themselves is just chalked up to "being human".
Alas the alternative oft is little more then wishful thinking. It would be nice if we could all be little gods able to see and discern all the hidden. Think how we could then keep ourselves out of trouble! Imagine a whole world of healers instead of patients. But realistically it hasn't happened yet and many who have tried have stumbled and fell and got discouraged.
Spirituality didn't get a bad rap because it was successful .....
People in the past got up at dawn and chopped wood and worked all day until it got too dark to work and became very physically strong because of that. Now we don't do that as much because there is increasingly no need to do so. We aren't as strong as we used to be. As above so below. More then ever each being needs to think and decide their own little reality. It is nothing we are used to doing in the long past and it isn't in our obvious genetic makeup to do now. I do notice a lot of people who at least think it might be possible and worth a try. Pratice makes perfect.
Because we know what we are now isn't very successful.

Hello Sacred, Regarding that verse from Acts, I've always wondered exactly what it meant. I am starting to see a lot of changes not only in the broader sense of society but in my own home. It's subtle, but something feels different. Though I don't know whether its because Im changing myself, and because of that my perception is that the whole world is changing. That is a possibility, but I feel that there's too much evidence that this is happening in many other people's realities as well. Gruntal, as far as "spirituality getting a bad rap", maybe that has been the case because a lot of the time in the past "spirituality" didn't fit in with the materialistic focus of society, nor the 'needs' of the state. It was put into boxes and strict rules that often seemed arbitrary for the sake of control by rulers. People probably didn't see spirituality as effective in a world where you could be ostracized or killed by not following the rules. As far as people being stronger years ago than they are today, this is probably the case. We are on earth, so some kind of "work" needs to be done, I guess people didn't think about why they were doing the work that they did or to what end, some didn't enjoy it, but Im sure some did. And maybe for those that did enjoy it, they're fulfillment at the end of the day was answer enough. There is something I feel that is spiritual about doing work. Thank you for this post

Hi sacred,
Some very interesting responses on this thread from Gruntal and Clara, I agree with much that they have said.
This shift in consciousness has been happening for a while I think. Definitely today people are more open and interested in the spiritual aspect of life. At the beginning of the century, there was a massive interest in spiritualism. I know that the interest in Egyptology created a thirst for knowledge about the afterlife through information that came through about the mummies of Egypt and the Egyptian beliefs in immortality through the spirit as well.
In today's economic climate, when many are struggling to make ends meet, people often turn to faith or belief, in something higher then themselves. I also think that those people who had for one reason or another had been 'turned off' from religion, are understanding that one can be spiritual without being 'religious' in the traditional sense of the word. The information available and easy access to learning about different spiritual paths has definitely got something to do with this I feel.
This shift in consciousness now appears to be more focused on spiritual growth and emotional maturity and responsibility. Hence why we see more and more people interested in Buddhism. So its more then just a curiousity about what happens to the human spirit when it leaves the body. Its about the human psyche, its about being satisfied with less in a materialistic sense and appreciating and understanding the growth of knowledge and wisdom. Its about a shared sense of destiny within the human race. Seeing past the differences, of race, colour and cultural backgrounds.
I for one pray that the shift in consciousness dissolves boundaries between people and brings a stronger sense of oneness as a human race. Maybe then we can move forward into the coming century with a higher sense of moral consciousness, compassion and concern for our fellow human beings.. a shared humanity. This I believe is the only way we will all survive as a species on a earth that is constantly changing.
Love and light Kaz
