In my dream, I was looking at old photos in a photo album (photos that I do not recall which were probably not taken) of my grandma. The photos were happy photos of her with family members. I thought of sending them to the family members who were alive since they would make great Christmas cards. (In real life, my grandma had severe dementia for years before she died.) I was in her new luxury apartment (In real life, she lived in a house, not an apartment. And she did not live alone). The hallway had sparkly clean and luxury tiles. A person I know was supposed to meet my grandma in her apartment before she got dementia or lost her memory. When I was inside my grandma's apartment, I thought the person (just mentioned) came to my grandma's apartment earlier that day to meet her. I walked into the hallway and thought this is the beautiful hallway the person saw when arriving. Afterwards, I had a family meal with family (including my deceased grandparents)- but I am not sure if it was connected to this dream or another dream.
The person I know in my dream is a guy I like. The night I had this dream, I prayed for clarification regarding this man.

Welcome to the forum. Something told me to respond to your dream. The new luxury apartment that your grandmother lived in may have been a representation of heaven. It seems that the place you were in, time did not exist because you able to enjoy a meal with all of your family including the ones that had passed away. Perhaps the man in your dream is a part of your family in the future or maybe you associate him somehow with memories of your grandmother. Does anything he do remind you of her? I feel that my grandma is the one who really loved me. What I mean is she listened to my needs instead of ignoring them. This man reminds me of my grandpa in the way that he seems like he would protect you (unlike my father) and he is into political discussions. My grandpa also really took care of my grandma and they were married for life. I do not know that I associate him with memories of my grandma except that she was the only one I felt loved by. However, I do not know if this man loves me or will love me since we are not yet in a relationship. The photos I looked at were when my grandma and her siblings/family were younger, but most fun comes when you are younger. I wish I was younger when I met this man since we could look forward to youthful future than old future together. Now, I have to start worrying about the aging process or try to maintain a youthful appearance.
It concerns me that I have not heard from this man in awhile. I hope the dream does not mean it will be like he is dead.

Hello again Rubie,
I'm not really sure of the meaning of the man in your dream talking to your grandmother. However, I feel that those happy photographs of your grandmother when she was younger show that memories are never really lost. Also consider the bond that you're grandmother and grandfather had, I don't think time or age weakened it. The bond likely grew much stronger. The feeling that this dream evokes seems to be one of comfort and peace. You mentioned that you were worried that you hadn't heard from him in a while. Maybe you should give him a call to check up on him and see how he is doing. I hope that the meaning of your dream become more clear with time and that it brings you comfort. There are also other members on this forum that might be able to give a very detailed interpretation, that might help as well.

I wonder if since this man entered my grandma's home, then she welcomed him into her home or welcomes him into the family?

That might be what it means. You were having a family meal with your relatives, those who were alive and those who had passed, past and present. So maybe he's a part of your future family. I guess that in time you will know.

It is just a guess since I am no dream expert.
I had another dream last night, but it did not involve my grandma so I do not know if it has as much meaning to it. Again, it involves the man I like.
I dreamed I was sleeping over at this man's best friend's house. Right before this dream, I had another dream that I was in a basement on a workbench creating a photo portfolio and the man was sitting on a stool in front of a workbench table at the front of the room. I walked toward him from the back of the room and handed him my portfolio. He said my present picture looked "perfect." I was surprised that he thought I was perfect. Then, I had the dream that I slept over at his best friend's house. It was more like a beach house- maybe because he lives on the beach. Since it was more like an office than a bedroom, his best friend was sleeping on a chair and I was sleeping on the floor. He had a teenage daughter in the dream, but I do not think he has kids in real life. His daughter was bummed that she had to get up early to go to work or could not sleep in with us. Later, we were lounging outside in lounge chairs still resting when his daughter came home. She asked me if I heard her talking with music playing. Her father was still asleep, but I told her I just heard the radio playing in the background. (I heard a Twilight Zone song.) Her father (or the man's best friend) woke up after I said this and chuckled about what his daughter asked. In the dream, I enjoyed spending time with his best friend.
