Respecting Qur'an can be applied by saving it in a clean place ( no dust can reach). The Qur'an should be on a High table or on its stand. There must be nothing covering the Qur'an. If the Qur'an is no more in need , as respect to save Qur'an from being mistreated ( because it is not needed anymore) it is preferred to burn it ( to save it)
Moreover, while someone is reading Qur'an ,silence it should be until the person stops reading. If the person is reading and you need him urgently you should say "Hasbuk All-'an"
