Do u wish to meet God?

I wish to meet God and I wish he will say " i am proud of you. I am proud that I created you and sent u here".

According to Bhagwat Gita ( Words spoken by God himself ) chapter 2 Para 15- A person who are not disturbed with anxiety in happiness and distress and have patience is eligible for 'mukti' ( experience God ).

We all know that God is within ourself and in all beings but sometimes do u wish to see God and meet him ? Like if someone believe in Rama wish to see Rama or someone Jesus?

I think to meet god .. we have to do some homework .. like our Heart must be pure and full of love, no hurting others or ourself and always help , have faith in god and so many good things we should do ... the list may differ from person to person

I wish to know ---
1. do u wish to meet god? why and why not?
2. what do u want to talk with him ?
3. what do u think one should do to meet god ?

1. I've already met her. We are in constant contact with God. She is only a phone call away. Using the heart to call of course. Meeting God is the first part. It's engaging into a relationship with her that is the hard part.

2. I talk with her all the time. I use my heart and my mind. I am in constant conversation with her. She talks to me through the heart and divinely orchestrated experiences. Just meeting the right person walking down the street. Or helping out someone less fortunate just because I know it makes God happy as well as the other person.

3. There is only one "person" that knows you like you do. And that's God. Be ready to face yourself. It's not an easy thing to admit our faults. All of them. Even the ones we don't think we have because we have been too prideful to admit them. Not to mention all the other things that we have done to others and ourself while in ego. Self reflection and the desire to be a better person just for the sake of being a better person is the only way we can have God's grace in this life. Not for a reward, not for recognition but just to be a better person. That is it. Spirituality and God are simple. We don't need a manual that tells us about God. That's what the heart connection is for. God doesn't have a religion or need to be worshiped. Religions have warped what it really means to have a relationship with God.

1 > Yes ! On a personal level there are some questions I would like to ask.

2 > As much as I would like to meet and talk the thing is I don't think I or anyone else living in this physical world would be able to comprehend anything but the very smallest part of him.

3 > I think everybodies journey through many lives brings them closer to God, the more "perfect" we become, the closer we become.

All of you are very lucky because you have some connection with God already. I don't know what that's like yet, but I am hoping to. I would love to meet God. It may sound funny to you, but I have just started to believe that maybe God is real. This is very serious to me and a big step. Now, I am just waiting to feel something, anything.

There have been times when I feel I have come close to meeting God. Caring for a dying baby. Helping to bring my grandchild into the world, watching as he slipped into the doctor's waiting arms. Holding my father as he passed from this life to another. These are the experiences that influence my feeling that there is something more.

Maybe instead of talking to God, we could just hug. I'm trying to feel/meet God by sitting, waiting, meditating, reading what others think about him/her, volunteering, being more loving to others and myself when I can, getting to know myself better, forgiving my own shortcomings.

So far I have been alone on my journey, but I am hoping these posts will help me to find my way. Namaste.

I'm a member of Eckankar, religion of Light and Sound of God, we experience the Light and Sound of God, the Holy Spirit by doing a Spiritual excersiss its a mantra we sing Hu a sacred name for God for about 10 to 15 min and experience the Light and Sound, It purifys us somewhat guides us and opens the god qulitys that we all ready have in us. But to see God in person, only Soul by obtaining heaven, the Higher heven the Sugmad, God only speaks to us through the Holy Spirit through the Holy Spirit the Soung current

The Holy Spirit they call the Word of God, Its every where , anyway I believe the only way we can see It the true God doesent have any gender is on earth is through the ,ight an sound, now the saints and Masters have Soul traveld and ment God and become or received God Relization and became like Jesus, but had different names. Oh ya, God loves all his Souls, and he sends his love to us all the time, we just do feel it because we not tuned in to his vibrations. When we give God our love by singing his Holy name we become tuned in to these vibes and recieve Gods love, its perty cool

When we are in this duality consciousness we tend to ask the wrong questions. The question should be "do you wish to remember God?"
