I ma new to this service, but I desparately need some help. I was just meditating (something I do daily) and about twenty minutes in my body started to go into some sort of "vibration" (i can't describeit any other way)... My whole body started to twist and snake and it still is, like something had hold of me... I am terrified. I was completely "taken over" and had no control. I kept sensing a voice saying "Let go", but I didn't know what of, and feared if I did I was about to die... Please, can anyone help. I'm really freaked out. It doesn't seem like a doctor sortof issue, but I don't want to run out and tell anyone in case they think I've gone bonkers as well!!!!!! Any support or advice will be gratefully received x x

Dear Bazerington,
First of all may I suggest that you drink a glass of cold water as that will help ground you. If you should feel hostile or negative energy directed at you at any time, you are able to keep yourself safe by protecting and strengthening the natural aura we all have. This is a simple exercise that takes seconds and can be used at any time.
Visualise yourself stepping into a beautiful silver shower that pours from above Say to yourself that this shower is washing away any negativity within and surrounding you Then surround yourself in a golden light of protection Feel it protect you from head to foot Trace and protect your whole energy field with this golden light Seal in this golden light with a blue light once more surrounding and protecting your whole aura
Remember anything for your best interests and highest good would never scare you. If you feel scared or uneasy it is your intuition’s way of telling you that something is wrong. Always listen to your intuition. Remember, it is very important before and after meditation that you ground and protect yourself. A small little prayer I like to use before and after each meditation is:
I ask the Archangel Michael to heal and protect my aura close it to all but the christ vibration do not allow anyone to enter on any level without your permission Thank you thank you thank you
But you can also use the above visualisation to help you also both are good. I hope this helps.

Dear Bazerington, I agree with everything that cyberangel has said to you.
You say you have been meditating every day for some time and that this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to you. I do know that one of things that people have observed and I count myself in this. Is that in a totally relaxed and open state, they can suddenly become acutely sensitive to bodily sensations.
They noticed their heart beat, their skin becomes sensitive to the most subtle of stimulus, the hairs on their arms stand up, their scalp prickles. The tingling sensations you describe I have felt often and sometimes I do feel as if I am being charged up with energy. As a healer, I tend to connect it mentally in my mind to channeling spiritual healing energy. But it could simply be that in this totally relaxed and open state we become incredibly aware of the energy that is everywhere around us and feel it enter our bodies.
When you meditate, your crown chakra opens, and it is through this area that energy enters the body. Your body may be taking in a large amount of chi or life force energy, just as plants and trees absorb it from the sunlight and moisture and the many other elements unseen by the human eye.
Sometimes when we experience something new or different from previous experience, people can panic. You get a massive surge of adrenaline from the anxiety which can manifest as shaking it would not surprise me if this is what happened to you. Heart racing, body shaking and pressure do sound like panic attack symptoms. The let go voice you heard, may have been your higher self trying to tell you to relax and go with the sensations you were feeling, rather then panicking. Indeed that is also the advice people who suffer from panic attacks are given, to try to relax and go with it, doing this does allow the body to come back to normal.
On a spiritual level, the surge of energies you were experiencing could have been as a result of your regular practice of meditation, raising your vibration. Which in itself is a great step forward in spiritual growth. When I read your post, this is the feeling I got from your words, I did not feel it was any kind of outside malevolent force trying to enter your body. Simply your body becoming sensitive and attuned to the higher vibrations. It is important though as Cyberangel said to always use spiritual protection, whenever you embark on any kind of spiritual practice.
I would also advise you to have a check up with your doctor if you get any kind of violent reaction again. I do not think it is a physical problem either, but it is always best to err on the side of caution. Please don't allow this experience to put you off meditation. In itself it is a wonderful way of relaxing and attaining peace of mind.

Thank you both so much, I've calmed down a bit now, but it was like my body was too small too hold me??? It was like being taken over, my body was just snaking around by itself. When I managed to bring myself out of it my joints, jaw and muscles were all aching... SHOULD I STOP MEDITATING? Thanks x

Never meditate if you are in fear, step back and begin again from the beginning. The whole process is simple, but if you are feeling ill effects, you should go back to basics and understand more about what you are doing.
As easy as it is to connect to the source of positivity, it is just as easy to connect with negativity, or bring negativity to the fore within us.

Your Kundalini energy is coming up in you. Just let go. You are fine.
