Hey there everyone,
I just wanted to share something that I discovered about myself. I am curious about if others recognize it.
It happened this morning.
Usually it takes hours and hours for me to wake up properly, I stay drowsy and have serious mindfog most of the time.
I do not want to make the story too long but it really has a big effect on my life. There are lots of things I cannot do because of it.
This morning I think I found 'part' of the solution. Its very simple.
I sat on the couch, being drowsy and distant, when I suddenly became aware of my energy not being in my body, I could feel me, floating higher then my body. Maybe 20 cm or slightly more.
In that split second I understood and pulled myself down. The effect of it was sudden and immediate, I felt clear and I felt focus.
Its just grounding myself after sleep.
I think now, that when I sleep I go out of my body. And I do not go back properly.
Grounding is easy for a split second, but maintaining it is more difficult. The moment I go into my normal 'mode' again, I lose being grounded as well.
I remember something now that a friend used to say to me. He is a native american shaman. When I met him we got into a friendship and often he suddenly said 'hey, you are flying!'. Meaning to make me aware and focus myself. I never understood that he actually meant that it is in a way literally flying above your own body. I always thought he just wanted me to pay attention to the moment more. More like flying thoughts, instead of a flying energy body.
Now I have to find help in staying grounded. Because its clearly something very hard. I think I never understood it fully before, because I barely know the feeling of being grounded. Then you do not recognize it. Maybe I will become less sensitive when I am grounded more
Anyway sorry for the long story.
I am curious about what others have to say about this, and maybe if someone knows why or how it happens (I will call it flying), I would love to learn more about it.
