Why are people born under horrendous conditions in third world countries? Why do natural disasters destroy peoples lives? Why do our loved ones get sick and die? Why must every living thing suffer and die? Why is it that the only way to keep our bodies alive for a little while is to take the life of another? Why is it that so many believe that a perfect God of love created this place when this place is imperfect and cruel? These are the sorts of questions that most of the religions and Spiritualities in the world are unable to give any satisfactory answer to. Quantum Physics may give us a clue. According to the Observer Effect waves become particles that appear as objects only when they are observed and thought about. www.abundance-and-happiness.com/quantum-physics.htmlWe are not human beings. We are not these fleshy, vulnerable bodies that are doomed to suffer and die. We are Spirit or Awareness. It's a mistake to assume that we were not around before human beings existed. The mind of God has always been, and the physical is nothing more than projected consciousness. It appears to exists only because we will it. In such a way it is similar to a dream. Most people believe that they are at the effect when the truth is they are the cause. That is why Miracles such as walking on water and turning water to wine are possible. When one has mastered the mind one may project the physical in anyway he/she chooses. Never think that you are a victim of the universe, or that a wrathful “god” is out to get you. You are the reason why the universe appears, and like the Prodigal Son God will welcome you with open arms. Enlightenment is nothing more than remembering what you have forgotten. Edit: Link added.

We must always see our reflection, our higherself and our sub-conscious make it so. It is our consciousness that makes this world what it is. We are in duality consciousness and while in duality the best we can ever do is keep the balance. We all choose not to fight the only good and real battle, the battle within our oun hearts, so the outside world has no choice but to reflect back at us what we all refuse to heal or see in ourselves. Our higherself is the judge and our sub-conscious is the enforcer of the court. When we all awaken and step into non-duality consciousness then we will close the book on two never ending stories. War and peace,/ and good and evil.

About the only good thing I have to say about religion is that it is indeed accessible to people even if they are not yet ready for other things. It would be arrogant for me to say that except if I had at some point in time paid my dues for things I did not do or deserve. To some it is the utmost folly to live like that. Why sacrifice yourself for nothing? Plus you can not change the past.
Now I am not so sure about that. Faith is maligned as a weakness for the unknowing. But it is also a affirmation we believe and are willing bet our selves on something before it actually is manifested. It isn't obvious as individuals how we can change anything so in that sense it does not matter. That also may explain why things are the way they are until all beings have a group think that wishes for something else.
The first step is always the hardest because you can't see where it will take you; you only know you don't want to be where you are now.

It is true gruntal, its always unknown where things will take us. Such is the way I guess. Appologies for this, I found out recently but had forgotten the Observer Effect with regards to the Double Slit Experiment is actually due to interference of a measuring device as opposed to human observation. This shows that the act of making the measurement with the device is what causes the Wave Pattern, to turn into Particles. Still even though the above was accurate when I tested it, I still believe that we live as is said in Duality consciousness, there is no denying that matter and mind differ completely and for experience to exist there needs to be some corrolation. To me it seems that mind recreates matter, and matter recreates mind. Where one ends an the other begins is another question I haven't an answer too. I still experience things the way I learn them to be and give definition to that. Open minded to physical manifestation, I can move my arm which is evidence enough that mind has a rather unique capacity over matter. The body itself could be seen as the vessel used to make an observation to cause particles to appear. Mayhaps I'll gain more perspective over time. I won't refute the experiences I've had though, coincidence or otherwise. There is something fishy about the real world.

So we are just our conciousness? ok, What about the laws of man? We can master walking on water, sure, why not, but there will always be laws to contradict this, wouldn't there? Thinking that nothing is impossible is dangerous.
Would you guys move mountains if you could?

Personally, I wouldn't want to, the world is (mostly) nice the way it is and in such a way I doubt I'd change much other then to empower others to be able to live the lives they want to live but have respect for the natural world in the process. Still such a thing can be done with words, and is ultimately upto others.

Thanks everybody for your comments. I've been away for the past month so forgive my late reply. Apparently I forgot to give the reference to my quote in my original post. I've updated it, and here it is again. www.abundance-and-happiness.com/quantum-physics.htmlI feel that some excellent points have been made. 1) Gruntal, religion has it's place. It suits certain kinds of people, and despite all the dogma it brings people to Spirit. I have to remind myself from time to time that supposedly Mother Teresa was enlightened, so apparently Catholicism works for some people. 2) Smeets, Spirit vs. the laws of man. Here are a few of the principles of miracles given by ACIM Apparently when one has mastered the mind to the point where miracles of the moving mountains variety become possible he/she is guided on when and how to use them. I find that rather comforting. 3) Ishtahota, ACIM talks a lot about dual consciousness. It describes it as the mind being split in half between Spirit and ego. The Spirit mind still knows the truth. It has never forgotten Heaven. The ego mind is deceived into believing that we are guilty for leaving Heaven and is fearful for choosing against God. In a sense the physical is our hiding place from God. It's a place of separation where God is nowhere to be found. The ego mind believes this is necessary because it fears God's retribution. The thing is God is all encompassing and so in a manner of speaking we are asleep in Heaven dreaming the dream of separation. According to ACIM enlightenment is no more than waking from the dream. This occurs when we rid ourselves of all the feelings of guilt and fear we have (all such feelings are tied to the separation) and realize that God is perfect love and in perfect love there is no retribution. When this happens the Prodigal Son shall wake to realize what true reality is, and the world of dreams and shadows will be forever gone. 4) Jerboa, I'm glad to hear that my post resonated with you. I wonder sometimes if we will ever really be able to grasp the full meaning of discoveries like the observer effect. Albert Einstein proved a long time ago that past, present, and future all happen simultaneously, and yet we still experience time linearly. My suspicion is that the ego mind can never comprehend such things because it's bound by the limits of logic. The closer to Spirit we move the more such concepts become understandable.

Thanks subsiding, the observer effect has always baffled me. I think fathoming it is most weird especially with what it seems to say about light, the way it is two things at once, a particle and a wave or can be one or the other.
I'm unsure why I have such difficult sometimes just fathoming that, though light has some incredible and strange properties.
Lets take 1 cubic cm, if we shrunk ourselves to that size we could see the universe from every direction we looked out from.
The same with 1 cubic meter, we are larger and yet still see everything, and so with bigger and bigger areas. The image that travels is relevent to any sized object and will be applied and have a minor reflection of itself within any object, a mirror for instance can reveal its reflection from any angle being highly reflective we also gain a great picture
Light co-exists with itself and contains the visual of everything visible, so the number of images in 1 cubic cm if frozen, would be inconceivably high, possibly to sensitive enough equipment could reveal every inch of the universe (even that outside of our horizon of space's expansion). How could that many particles fit in one place? Or even waves that don't interfere with each other or cancel out. (I can't put it into any terms that work for it, but its interesting and keeps me going)
Summed up, it seems as though every inch of anything exists on every size, small or large and for that many images travelling in every direction to exist in one place. Well its all kinds of weird and particles may be able to sum it up as they are unfathomably small, yet they still contain in one form or another the ability to interfer, which seems lacking from lights manner of travel. Unless of course light is active in matter, shining two different coloured torches on the same spot of ground, an yellow and a green I'd assume we'd end up with blue.
Yet if we we're to cross the beams in mid air, I'd think they both remain mostly the same colour as they started, air is almost entirely translucent (although I haven't tested it, haven't got the torches)
I think the observer effect though, really cued me to think about my own personal recognition of the world. The way that outlook really does effect real world things as with them our perception changes, sadly its a difficult area for any science other then spiritual or mind sciences.
I feel the lack of logic though, a lot of the things in the world transcend it in ways that words can't interpret, its a good job that our senses can glean some of it. I wonder what year 3000 humans will be like some days, hopefully my soul will get to see.

When this happens the Prodigal Son shall wake to realize what true reality is, and the world of dreams and shadows will be forever gone. I agree with part of what you posted, but I have beeen shown threw experience and ceremony that ACIM is just a little off on their explanation. Before we are born and in this body we are whole. When we choose to come here we split off part of ourself to come down here and be in the body. We are born and we are for the most part as whole as we can be, we are just not yet mature. So the higher-self stays out there somewhere while a peice of itself comes down here to experience this world. When we get here we find that the body itself has a consciousness that grows with the body. This consciousness keeps the body alive. It helps us to react to the outside world without even thinking about it. When we put our hand into the fire it pulls back. It runs the autonomic systems that keep the body alive. A martial artist can train the ego to react without thought. The mystics ask the question "who serves who", do we serve the ego or does it serve us. The ego is the animal part of the body. It can use our life force to create a type of consciousness, and then fool us into thinking that it is us. Now here is where the duality comes in. There are mans laws which for this explanation do not mean any thing to us. There are two other sets of laws, the laws of nature and the laws of spirit. The world that we are born into break these laws all of the time and if we want to interact with others and get the things that we need we must also break these laws. When we do this it causes us to have inner conflict. Conflict that we as children can not settle or correct. This when we split ourselves into again so that we can live with ourselves and what we have done to ourselves, to the world and to others. This is when we enter into duality consciousness. When we enter into duality consciousness down here we are cut off from conscious contact with the spirit world and our higher-self. When we die we are let out of the body and the ego goes with us along with all of its fears, feelings, and short comings. It is only when we choose to go into the light that we are freed from the ego. The ego stands between us and our authentic self, it keeps us from stepping out of the dream of duality consciousness, walking into the non-duality awakened state of enlightenment.

We live in a world of energy, as to recall an experiment by an observer when he thought positive thoughts and looked into the water, it become pure.
Self healing by placebo tablets confirm the power of the mind.
We are spiritual beings living a physical existence. Our free will dictates our life and I believe a part of us is here to learn, grow, experience, love, share and to master to manifest our dreams in the physical reality.

Whatever happened/happens/will be happen is only and only for the good.
God does nothing while doing everything.
Like, when we are in dreams. Who is the creator? And the answer will be us only...We create images and plant there roles.
So, if we can create something within us. Then the one, who has created the whole universe & who is behind anything that happen/going to happen, he will not be described in words.
Example:
There was a very religious and spiritualistic guy. He once going somewhere through plane. So, while resting he got a dream. And see, that GOD says : Now, this plane is gonna crash and all of you here are gonna die.
He just open up and his eyes, and started praying : Please God, don't do this. Help us, Save us.....Please Please...Oh lord, kindly do something.........etc...
Finally, there was nothing happen and the plane landed safely.
Now, in the night the same guy again got a Dream. Here God said " I am really disturbed from you" The Guy replied : Why Lord....What have I done? God Said : Why did you pray...Do you even realize, what have you done.....All of people in the plane. It's was the time for there death. But you stopped it. Have you even think of, the food that all those fish were gonna get in the ocean. Now, who will take care of that......You, have really done something against the nature rules.....
So in short what ever happens, Its in the nature, by the nature & for the nature.
We are no one to argue about it...That's all about "Getting the taste of your own medicine".
The way we change our clothes. Same like, we shift from one body to another... So, this physically seen thing is nothing but a rented home.
The natures software is so brilliantly works, that whatever you do right or wrong, according to the rules of nature. You will get back the response sooner or later.
God Bless everyone.
