Still no one has found What causes life to exist The theories and ideas are crazy Simple things from complex to hazy Nothing makes sense in a world of mind Madness and insanity was all I could find Somehow I knew the truth is the reflection That mind reacts in reactive dissection Stretching it out into time and space Like a thing that never was reflecting what is Upon a surface that could be Anything life is
It leads me to limitations I never knew And more confined then ever realization grew Like a dream forming humbled by thoughts And unbuilt these walls without the limits I'd sought And in my unbuilt home I approached something infinite Understanding became clear, as illusion left fear And my analogy of life that pivots in feeling And feeling of life sails in that echo There is still something That can only see, when I stop looking That can only see, when I stop pivoting A shadowy flicker in corner of my eye Hiding on my shoulder In the back of my mind Something thats not looking Something not watching The thing I can never see As where ever I turn It turns with me

I had wanted to add more to this, but I'll save it for another one. The brief of what it will be is how one persons illusions of another person become distorted through hating, and how those illusions can only be dispelled by the people involved if both parties realise the difference between their mind expectations and the other person/s involved.

Hi Jeboa, A great poem and very insightful. I can tell you have given this a lot of thought. I believe it is a big step forward for us, when we become self aware enough, to realise that what we see is often a distorted view. Coloured by our own life experiences, and indeed our own expectations.
For me a big part of letting go of judgments even unconscious ones, was the realisation, that we cannot base our relationships with people on what has happened in the past. Each situation, is different and unique.
Often what does rankle us about others, is a reflection of what is within. Things we refuse to face. Hard to run away from what we don't like about ourselves when it is staring us right in the face isn't it! I believe, it takes great self honesty to accept this and courage to face it and work on it.
A great post, thank you for sharing.
Love and light Kaz

That is very well said kaz, I think you described exactly what I've spent so much time contemplating. =D
Slight edit to the last line of the poem inspired by the way you just described this. Luke
Ps. Good to be back for a bit, had been away doing soul searching and mind searching.

I like it. I think like this also.
You are right it has to be both parties. You can be as honest and courageous as possible but if the other person is not involved aswell nothing happens. You have to find common ground.
There are exceptions to the case too I think. Some people you may not want to get back together with. So you just remember them and wish them well.
