Hello everyone
I was wondering if you could recommend literature on the meaning of dreams from a spiritual perspective. I sometimes dream of interesting places or concepts that are difficult to grasp or even words that do not exist. And when you I go online and look for meanings for these dreams, I usually find superstition and nonsense.
I also know that dreams directly address the person who dreams them, so they usually encode meanings in ways that only the dreamer can understand. I believe that dreams are very personal, however maybe from spirituality point of view, I could find more guidance to understand my dreams and maybe grasp their meaning, so they can aid my spiritual journey.
Just last night I had this odd dream where I could see and talk to spirits, and I was talking to a little girl. Then she asked me this question, something that only a spirit could know, and I said: "Oh, I´m sorry. I can´t answer that. I forgot to tell you that I´m not dead yet"
The little girl got angry and said that it was not polite to be untrue when you talk to spirits, and she disappeared.
Later on, I found other spirits, there was this boy and he came directly to me in a very threatening attitude and told me that the little girl had told him that I had lied to her. I apologized and told him that I wouldn´t do it again. So, the boy spirit and I started to joke and I took the chance and asked him the same question that the little girl had asked me and he was very proud to answer me. I didn´t understand if the figure that he had mentioned was a good one or not, but he was proud and smiling when he mentioned it, so I assumed it was good news and congratulated him.
Then they told me that they were about to leave (there was 15 of them) so they asked me to step aside and they formed several small rounds, or they formed couples and held hands, and in a flash they took off and suddenly disappeared. End of the dream.
Now, I´m guessing that the spirits group refers to new circles of people, maybe different from me, that I could be associating with soon. Even if they are different, I´ll be connecting with them, so in order to facilitate communication and learn from them I have to be very open and honest.
Now, I´m not asking for a reading, of course, just for advice from a spiritual point of view on how to address the search for meaning of my dreams. As I said at the beginning, I would appreciate it if you could advise me on good literature or maybe on techniques to understand my dreams.

PS: I forgot to mention that in my dream I was a boy in his twenties, which is weird because I´m a woman and much older than that and I definitely could never be mistaken for a boy.
