Are such stories proof that reincarnation actually happens?

Concerning Reincarnation – if one searches back to the days of Emperor Constantine they will find that reincarnation indeed had be removed from the Bible. “Why” … because the emperor, especially his (mother) - DID NOT want to have (a coming back in body to amend for all the wrongs done when on earth) hanging over her head. So by removing reincarnation from the bible - thought to give her the assurance that she/they would not have to come back to repay for the misdeeds done.
Just goes to show how their mind did work back then.
EVERY living creature, everything created here on earth rises up through evolution; all things is drawn back towards the LIGHT - its Creator. At first one is not aware of this, but one day they are very aware of it.
You must have heard some say that earth is like a school with many class-rooms; this is so true. Each class-room holds like minded. Those who know and understand a little more than others are in a higher class. Though in this day and age MANY either repeat or sink to a lower class-room (level) in their next incarnation. They keep repeating until they get it right. But today as we look around us we see many low classes of people who just dont care. No sense of right or wrong - no conscience. Maybe I should right a post explaining this; I will give it some thought.
There are verses in the bible which states signs of reincarnation. One such verse is when Jesus said: John the Baptist was Elijah who has come again to clear the path for him (Jesus).
But to find the truth of this for oneself, meditation and right conduct is the way.

Thanks for your reply. There's a side of me who doesn't want reincarnation to be true, but I don't see how everybody could wake to Heaven if it isn't. I have a pretty clear conscious, but I don't want many more lifetimes here. I don't even want one more.
In your experience have you found that when the body goes the person is able to rest for a long time on the astral plane, or is the person immediately thrust back into another body? I've done some research that seems to suggest we never reincarnate unless we desire it. If that's the case I think I'll be on the astral plane for a long time. I look forward to your report on those who don't care.

subsidinginsanity, I don’t think anyone can ever explain it in a clear and proper way to be fully comprehended, unless they themselves have reached a very high state of consciousness and are able to give it in such a way so others can grasp.
There are just some things that cannot be explained. Though the culprit here is our mind. Through meditation and other spiritual practices we are in time able to expand the mind, by achieving this expansion we can then grasp things on a much deeper level. Even when we are able to grasp these things we may never be able to explain them in mere words as it could be impossible. I have witnessed some things and I'm sure many of you's have also witnessed things through experiences, and probably had terrible trouble, like myself, in trying to explain them in detail but couldn't.
Anyway in some cases there are those who come back immediately, whereas some may remain on the other side for centuries. Though time there is much different than here.

I remember one time when I went to sleep, my master pulled me out of my body and brought me to theTemple of Wisdom on the Casual Plane and looked at my past lives, but when I woke up couldnt remember nothing, any way our belief we do believe in rencarnation, after judgement from the Lord of karma, if onehas to come back to the phycial plane ones placed back in a condition to work its karma off, I would say a mounth at the shortest, but realy I dont know

I also found out that Soul hase a perfect memery of its past lives, but the mind of a person doesent, but Soul has the ability to send impressions to the mind, just like dreams do. Some learn Soul Travel and learn how to remember in detale there experience. If our mind can tap in to Souls memery we probly remember, our Soul usuly works in the now helping the mind, but the mind is stubern
